Story time
So I recently started playing Minecraft again, but I haven't played in a while, so I was not expecting how different things are in 1.10. The new combat system, however, is my least favorite change. I'm still not used to it, and killing mobs is a bit more difficult now, but I digress. I still hope they change it back. Anyway, I decided to go on a server that I haven't been on since 2013. It was a small survival server, that my sister, my friend and I used to go on. We had a pretty good run, there. Awesome house, lots of stuff. I thought it had shut down(that's why we left), so I was surprised to see it up and running in 2016. When I joined the server, everything was very different. I didn't bother to go looking for the old house since this was most likely a new map. So I started over. Now, when it comes to multi player servers, I like to be as far away from spawn(and other players) as possible, because I have been griefed and raided many times in the past on many servers. This server has a claiming system, but you only start out with 500 blocks. Luckily, you seem to get more over time. So I started my journey. But I died a few times. But I kept starting over, each time farther that the last. I was about 3000 blocks away from spawn. It was morning, the time where skeletons and zombies would be on fire. So I leave my makeshift dirt hut, but then, a baby zombie came charging at me. The weird combat system, along with the server lag, and the baby zombie being small and quick, caused me to be killed. 3000 blocks away from spawn, no way to get my stuff back. Unbelievable. I hate the new combat system. I hope the Minecraft team changes it back, because it's clunky.
