According to information from the Film and Television Industry Alliance and a now-edited Deadline article, a new Muppet television series is in the works at Disney Plus.

The production summary reads as such:

The upcoming Muppet Show pilot is set to reintroduce the beloved ensemble of characters with a fresh twist, blending classic variety-show charm with new comedic sketches. While details remain under wraps, the project aims to capture the heart and humor that made the original a cultural icon.

Note: Pictured on the left is the chart from the Deadline article pre-edit, which says "Muppets" for the title. On the right is the chart post-edit; it has "Untitled 20th TV & DBT Pilot for Disney+" for the title. When comparing information in other columns, such as that in "Credit Allocation," it is clear these are the same projects as all numbers are the same.

Listed as producers are Seth Rogan, Evan Goldberg, and Michael Steinbach; the director is listed as Alex Timbers; the line producer is listed as Ryan Janata; and the director of photography is listed as Rhet Bear.
