Once, a young fox spirit was saved and cared for by an elderly man who taught him about balance, kindness, and nurturing life. When the man fell gravely ill, the fox—now a growing kitsune—sacrificed much of his own essence to ease the man’s passing, losing his ninth tail in the process. Now known as Sora, he serves as a gentle caretaker at a quiet mountainside temple, where he runs a small teahouse.
He’s kind-hearted with a quiet nature, and he also has a playful side. He enjoys harmless mischief like stealing hats with a gust of wind, teasing his friends with a serious face just for laughs, as well as playful flirtation. Even though he’s thoughtful and wise, he often covers up his deeper concerns with easy smiles and playful jokes, like sunlight peeking through the leaves. Beneath his playful exterior lies a fox who has loved deeply, grieved quietly, and continues to choose kindness as both his armor and his philosophy.
