Adam had hoped that the whole matter with the Chronicle would disappear and he wouldn’t have to waste any more time on it. Frankly he had enough work to last years, hence the fact he found himself in the office on a Saturday afternoon. He had told himself he would work until twelve and then one and now it was nearly two and he was still buried in paperwork.
His eyes were constantly drawn to a scrunched up piece of paper that had landed on his desk a few days ago. The newspaper had printed their retraction, he had ensured the company’s social media pages were all updated with the retraction details and it should all have settled down....so why did he have a flyer yet again accusing the company of wanting to shut off right of access paths and planning to destroy half the forest. The whole thing was an irritating headache and Adam ran his hand over his face in frustration. Suddenly he became aware of a noise outside and walking to the window he could see up to the edge of the forest where someone...a woman appeared to be yelling and handing out bits of paper. He watched for a few moments as she walked over and began to hammer some paper onto the tree...a piece of paper very similar he thought to the one sitting on his desk. As she turned around Adam let out a loud laugh, Brenna Williamson!
He lifted the paper and pulled on his shades and casual blazer over his jeans and polo shirt and headed out into the fresh air. Following the path past the office building and up to the forest he held up the flyer, “I might have known this had something to do with you princess. Do you care to explain what you think you are playing at?”
The struggle
Me: I should work on that story I've been neglecting *looks at piles of neglected stories* *sweats* Me: *begins new story* THIS IS FINE.
Finally, I think I can officially try animation again! I recalled I made animations as a school girl by drawing frames/cels in Photoshop, then put them in order with Flash. Nowadays, I can do better with Clip Studio Pro and Toon Boom!
Still, don't expect the most breathtaking animations ever, it IS done by one person who's been favoring writing and drawing over the years. But hey, at least the improved abilities there can make up for choppier stuff. Still, I can't wait to animate things like "Chaotic Quintet" or "Scaredy Cubs."
In non-animation news, I decided to use series logos to help catch people's eyes to any posted stories. Case in point, look out for that new "The Dreams and Nightmares We Share..." logo to tell you when I post the next parts-- uh, save on A03 of course, you don't really have preview images in the search pages and all.
Lmao. So...I’ve started replying to potential “sweet dad” bots with emojis. It’s actually quite an entertaining project. If you’re human, you can normally assess what I’m saying. But if it’s a bot, it tends to cut to the chase much quicker and I don’t help it learn better conversation tactics.
Anyways, if you get a response of just emojis then I think you’re a scammer and playing my cards safely. Prove to me you aren’t, and that you’re a decent person not asking a married woman for exclusive images and I might actually hold a conversation with ya. 😅
I’ve met some of my greatest friends on this site, and will always give the benefit of the doubt. But I’m not interested in being part of money laundering schemes (Sweet Dads), buying weed, sending explicit photos, or looking for a hookup.
Stay happy healthy and safe my lovelies 🥰
