So last week (or so) we took a trip to meet with the owner of #dirtyblondes to hear how the latest new addition to the Blackpool bar scene is coming along. Hopefully the photos give you a taste of what’s to come (end September we’re told so long as joiners don’t go awol) 😂 Dirty blondes 👱‍♀️ has proved mega popular in a location that has previously struggled against the big names in town. Famed for its pizza 🍕 and chilled out vibe, it’s success has lead to the birth of its sister (or brother, they’ve not told us the sex yet) venue #paradisecoast Located above dirty blonds (wish autocorrect would stop trying to make me type ‘blinds’ instead of ‘blonds’) we expect this to also maintain the same chilled out relaxed vibe that everyone loves dirty blonds for. ‘Selfie opportunities galore’ by the look of things to come with some mega art work, fantastic ideas for the lighting to come (we’ll leave that a surprise for the time being) and probably what we thinks will be the most stand out selling point in Blackpool ....... PROPER cocktails!!! None of this ready mixed from a bottle stuff but the genuine articulate!! Something Blackpool’s missing tbh, we can only think of a few places across the town that do decent cocktails (though the one we were told about made with tea and milk 🥛 sounded disgusting tbh ..... but will still have to try it when they open)😂 Already excited for this place and wish them every success being a small independent, exactly the sort of place Blackpool needs!
