re: ronan seeing the devil: I always assumed that, like, the devil he saw his father shoot was one of his father's night terrors? I assumed since ronan has them, his father might've had them too, and given the family's intense religious belief, it seems p reasonable that his dad's nightmares would be of the devil
that’s kind of what i assumed but on the other hand that like?? implies that the basis of ronan’s faith was a lie?? which holy shit that’s ungodly heavy and sad even for this series
