11/12/2020 - Short Notice Experience.

A while back I was gifted an experience to partake In an advance driving day at Land Rover Expeirence (Eastnor) due to the current climate they haven’t been able deliver the course for obvious reasons.

But I was made aware that if i could free time before Christmas, Land Rover would offer a complimentary half day around Eastnor in the new defender.

So of course I leaped at the opportunity and my 1/2 day was booked for the 11th (today). The session was great just as before, 4 new defenders in convey (front and rear support with x2 client cars)

Adrian and Martin were in support behind us and every so often we would stop and run through new setting and how they work and why you use them.

For me todsy was about finding out the capabilities of the new vehicle and compare what I’ve read in reviews against actual experience. The tracks used at Eastnor can be challenging in places but at no point did I feel out of my depth - even wading.

Follow up mini review to come of my driving experience with the new generation green oval defender.
