It wasn’t often that August had any real thought, unless she was with Venus of course, so anyone who knew her well would never expect much out of her. Not that she was entirely an idiot, but... she definitely wouldn’t describe herself as smart. “Do hamsters think?” She asked aloud, much to the person’s bad luck. “I mean... Freckle doesn’t do much, and he doesn’t come to me when I call his name, so...” @nhstarters

Dustin was enjoying the sun on this bright day. He looked over at the person who joined them and waved with his dopey grin across his face. “Beautiful day ain’t it?”
Eva was aware that there were always going to be tough times and rough patches when it came to owning a bakery; she had been prepared for it because she’d co-owned Sweet Treats with a partner for years. After her partner had moved away, she slowly went through the legal process of having it in her name alone. Still, the consequences of a bad review in a small town were harsh. “These people only tried one thing, and it was from a new staff member. They never even spoke to me before writing this,” she mumbled, mostly to herself as she clicked out of the browser with a sigh. @nhstarters

The sun was shining when she woke up, after last night's shift. She was beyond tired, but today was her day off. Stretching in her bed, she heard the sound of large paws scraping against the floor. Before she could react to her Doberman, Obi ran and leapt into her bed. She laughed.
“Yes I know it’s time for us to go out and walk, let me shower and get ready.” Obi barked, wagging his stubby tail. Eden pushed him off the bed, heading for the closet. She grabbed a pair of biker shorts, a top and whatever else she needed to change into after her shower.
It took her less than an hour to get ready, sliding her feet into her Cinnamon Toast Crunch Crocs. She made her way to the kitchen to snag herself a piece of fruit and her water bottle. After demolishing the fruit, she whistled for Obi. Who came trotting with his leash and harness, after getting him in it. The two were off, today's walk location was The Promenade.
She wanted to check out the sights, plus she wanted Obi to get accustomed to people. After he finally opened up, he was more than a friendly dog. Making it to The Promenade. People were out enjoying their day, so was she. Giving Obi some water, the two of them wasted no time walking down the pathway.
“Love this town.” She said, happy to get away from the life she was used to back then
“Do you think the kids I babysit would think I was cool if I learned a TikTok dance? I keep seeing the one for Lizzo’s newest song and I don’t think I could manage to learn it without looking absolutely ridiculous.” @nhstarters
“Well... as niche and cliche as another beach party is... I honestly needed a reason to use this new suit anyways,” Aaliyah rambled, her words serving no purpose other than to make small talk with the person next to her. She shrugged on her coverup and did a short twirl in her full length mirror, before raising a brow expectantly at them. “Well? What do you think?” She asked, her tone a bit more clipped and demanding than questioning. @nhstarters
