True story - I used to be a machine when it came to keeping track of things - a point of pride even. Then I got hit by car almost 2 years ago and so many things changed. At first I didn’t realize how much I was forgetting or wasn’t keeping track and when I finally did my pride prevented me from taking the actions I needed to. I used to think I could remember EVERYTHING. I even fought the concept for a while because of pride..... There’s nothing worse than ignoring the right way because your lying to yourself. What’s so bad about taking notes??? How could anyone think of it as a weakness??? They can’t and won’t. • Here’s a perfect example. My prints have notes and highlighter on them to remind me of my concerns or calc’s from my last pass at them. Plus my notebook is always by my side. On this day I was transferring basement window RO’s that included my PT & KD framing for the #cribbers to their working set of prints. • Next time you’re debating on taking notes or carrying your notebook, remember this. No one ever complains about accuracy.
