I went to look up the tracklist and saw the Morro Rock channel (a real life place in SLO county) was listed as 107.3 and hoLY COW DUDE THAT'S WHAT THE ACTUAL STATION WAS (THE ONLY ROCK STATION IN THE TRI-COUNTY CENTRAL CALI AREA!!!!) I'm in the next county over, but I used to spend so much time tweaking the antenna on my boombox trying desperately to pick up any rock of metal music. "New rock one. Oh. Seven. Three." Like AAAAAHHHHH!!!! The attention to small details like this just makes my fucking day every time I catch them!!!! Like, that station straight up disappeared when I was in college, but it was my entiRE HIGH SCHOOL EXISTENCE AS ONE OF THE VERY VERY FEW METALHEADS IN THE VALLEY. Every monday was metallica day, and every day at 4:20 pm they would play that i smoke two joints song and one of the radio hosts named Tammy B would always make lewd jokes and brag about how she was sitting in the station in the nude and i first heard Cage the Elephant on this station and learned how they got their name and I remember learning brainstew by greenday on guitar by ear as fast as i could when it came on one time and just aaAAHHHH!!
