VAST ERROR IS CANCELLED???

Mid-Fight Newspost
Hi Art Fighters, we hope you're enjoying the event so far! We have a few announcements...
Financials
We have reached our Tier 1 goal of $98k and are very close to reaching our Tier 2 goal of $150k! We'd like to thank everybody who has contributed. A majority of the features promised will be implemented sometime after the event, though you can track our progress through our Changelog here.
Extension
Due to unexpected maintenance and the site's partial downtime, we have decided to extend the event until August 3rd at 12:00 PM Mountain Time.
Debug Bar
You may have noticed a debug bar appearing at the bottom of the site on Saturday, July 13th. This was not a security breach and the only sensitive information accessible was the login token of the user currently logged in.
The incident occurred because we brought on the previous contractors (who helped us migrate our servers) to help us evaluate and optimize our new AWS architecture. Unfortunately, they mistakenly installed the debug menu on our production environment, due to a lack of communication on our part.
The IP addresses shown in the debug bar were those of Cloudflare proxy servers rather than user IP addresses, meaning that they could not be used to obtain information about your ISP or physical location. No accounts are at risk and your information was not leaked to other users or Art Fight staff.
We will be implementing measures to prevent this mistake in the future.
Please read the newspost below in full for all information. Thank you so much for participating in Art Fight!!!
An art trading game
happy break day everyone
it's been one year since the stable launch of Project BREAK... and a lot has happened since. it might not seem as much by the way things look around here, since the comic's update schedule has been at a standstill for almost a year now — let's talk about that.
for the past several months (and beyond), i've been experiencing what i can only really describe in polite company as an extended mental health crisis, and i have had to choose what to focus on between trying not to lose my mind, or writing a comic about losing my mind. it happens to a lot of us, and in these times it is especially rough, but let's just say i'm eternally grateful to have the company that i do.
everyone says being crazy makes for better art. and while that's probably true, poor material circumstances can also majorly hinder any artistic endeavor in a large number of ways. and to me at least, poor circumstances are the core of insanity, so who's really to say.
this is not to say that work has not been done on the comic — i have spent at minimum 2-3 days per week allowing new details about the story to take form in my mind, bouncing ideas off my most trusted creative partners-in-crime, and generally fleshing out the thematic throughlines a lot more as i come to a deeper understanding of the story i want to tell.
it turns out, however, that none of this is conducive to the process of creating what was always supposed to be a very raw and experimental work. i've been stuck procrastinating on a single flash sequence for almost a year because i've fallen into the trap of always trying to write in anticipation of later parts of the story that don't exist yet — i have been borrowing meaning from the future, making me tonight's biggest loser.
as always, loathsome a pill it may be to swallow, the key lies in just buckling down and doing it. so that's what i'm going to do. once i finish moving, at least. by the time this post goes up, i'll probably be real busy packing, and once everything's moved i'll have to settle in first.
after that, though? we're off to the races. i'm going to begin building a backlog of pages that gives me enough room to develop the story at a rate i find satisfying, and when i've got enough of a headstart, updates will resume proper, probably within january if not earlier. i hope to see you there.
and if you're one of the sickos that's stuck around for this since the start, waiting patiently as i get my act together, thank you. genuinely. i'll be sure to make your wait worthwhile. stay tuned.
Very excited to announce the release of OCEANFALLS VOL. 7!
An amazing compilation of 24 musical tracks lovingly crafted by members of the Oceanfalls Music Team, full of some of my new favorite OCF songs ever.
Check the album out below!
Many thanks to the music team's members for cooking up a great addition to the soundtrack once again. <3

March 2023 updates!
Since Tumblr’s not my main hangout spot, I figure I’d update ppl on what I’m doing lately! I’m still slowly working on the MSPFA discord archive, a big zip file containing thousands of images of things from the MSPFA discord server from before the January 2023 wipe. Version 2.0 came out in late February, and can be found in the MSPFA discord’s #shilling channel. I don’t wanna directly post the archive to big social media sites cuz the archive would likely leave its target audience then. You’ll probably have to scroll up in the #shilling channel to find it (I most recently shilled the MSPFA discord archive at 12:47 PM MT/2:47 PM ET on March 13th). I plan to release a version 3.0 of the MSPFA Discord archive in the near future, but I’ve also been busy with other projects, like my fanadventures, so the archive isn’t a top priority right now. If you have MSPFA discord images from before the wipe, and you want them added, send me a discord DM at: LudicrousFeline#1461
On the topic of other things, I’ve been doing some work for my Earthernia fanadventure as work is underway on the MSPFA site to recover lost metadata and bring the site back online. I hope to get a decently sized update out once MSPFA is back up. I’ve mostly put Worldmash on the backburner for now, but I could also get a few pages for that out before MSPFA goes up. In the meantime, here’s a little bit of panel art from the latest queued update:
And lastly, I made one of the pronoun page thingys. It’s a good way to share info on sexual orientation & gender identity in one stop shop, and it provides yet another good place to put my social media links, since MSPFA is down, and I was using my userpage there as a hub for social links lol.
https://en.pronouns.page/@LudicrousFalcon
The link to the pronouns page can also be found in my bios on twitter and tumblr.
...So that about covers all the major things I’ve been doing lately! Look for Earthernia updates and MSPFA discord archive 3.0 in the future!
I love havin bangs in the headspace n now I'm makin it everyone's problem 🧡
