This may just be a gratuitous post of me publicizing my former alma mater's television station, but it really shows how chill and humble Pentatonix is to go from being on major news stations one day to giving the same respect to college broadcasters the next.
Another week gone and what a long one it was. I've been sick all week with a head cold, so I think that made everything drag even more. Despite not feeling well, it was an important week for setting up my semester.
Sunday, I had my ICTV auditions. I will be a reporter on Sundays for Newswatch 16, and I will be covering the Cornell women's softball team for Sports Final (once their season starts, of course.) There were a few meeting here and there to get back in to the swing of things- going over the guidelines for each show and getting re-acclimated with the expectations from the producers and directors.
I'm excited for what this semester will bring. I definitely missed being involved with ICTV while I was in LA, so I'm ready to get back in the swing of thins and keep learning everything I'll need to know before next May comes.
Hopefully, I can get some rest this weekend to start feeling better before everything really gets going. I have practice cast for Newswatch this Sunday, with a special taping time to accommodate some football game that night, or something like that.
Who am I kidding, I'm pumped for the Super Bowl Sunday. It's going to be a tough game, and I have a feeling I'm going to be stressing during the entire thing. But, I do think the Patriots will win. No doubt the Giants are a great team, but there is something about this Patriots team that won't let this opportunity slip away.
