I've been working from home for almost two years and over those two years, my daily appearance has changed drastically. It went from dressing up for work to barely getting out of my pajamas. I would only get "dressed" if I had an event to attend. And after I stopped attending events, my desire to get dressed fell to the waist side. Since I'm preparing to re-enter the corporate environment, I thought I would take a trip down memory lane by sharing some of my favorite outfits that I've worn to work. This trip down memory lane will remind me of the woman I use to be along with her confidence and charisma. You'll also get a better understanding of my fashion sense for work. Connections: I had a fabulous day today. I was able to check out @thehenryrestaurant because I have never been. It is one of the most Instagram worthy restaurants I have ever visited. Now I know why bloggers and creatives hang out there. The food isn't bad either. One of the highlights of my day was meeting up with focused and driven women. It was a much needed brunch because of the social aspects. It was also needed because it felt good to speak with women that understands life's multifaceted challenges. I'm looking forward to our monthly meetings and keeping each other honest. Because I wear a lot of black I know that I have to get creative at times. I actually enjoy the creative process because I aim to put a look together that's different from what you would typically see. In this situation, I paired some long socks with wedged sneakers. I received compliments all night. The Individuals paying compliments didn't know if I was wearing a boot or shoe.
