This little organ seat kept popping up in the classifieds, begging to come home with me. I finally relented, and went to buy it. I thought I'd redo the cushion seat and paint it. Then I would figure out what to do with it. But I keep sanding items partially and liking the look. Which saves me a lot of time, paint, money and frustration. A tung oil finish and a seat/tray made out of leftover cedar boards from our wall and I have a unique storage place for my laptop. I can use the seat/tray for a lap tray when using my laptop and just set it all back on the frame when I need to get up. This is my pile of things to be donated! I always have a box going for donations but I did some major cleaning a while ago and came up with all this. I like to donate to church thrift stores or the SPOT thrift store whose proceeds go to the local animal shelter because I know the money will directly benefit the surrounding community.
