New to Wicca

Looking for an online “circle” of sorts to help in my learning process. I started learning about wicca years ago and within the last year started to get back into it and really learning as much as possible. I’m really just looking for like minded people to swap ideas and tips with.

🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕 . .. . WICCA QUESTIONS!! 🌱I have many questions for all of those in the Wiccan World. I have always been drawn to this and to potions since I was a little girl. I would go into the trees by my house and talk to the trees and the air and the earth. I could feel them as alive as my family. I was told to stop pretending as I got older and am trying now to come back to my roots. I need as much help as I can to really dive into a world I was meant to understand. I know that I am an empath. I also see a naturopathic doctor … so I try to be very natural. I wrote down some things I would love help on. If you can’t answer them, or at least one… please share this so that someone else may.. or someone else may find answers as well. There is so much I want to learn. I will type them out invade my handwriting is dreadful.🌱 . .. . 🌱Runes. (What are they, how are they made, why do we use them? What are the benefits? What’s your opinion) 
🌱Altars. (How do I make one? Why do I make one? Why would someone have more than one and what do I use this for?) 
🌱Gods/Goddesses - (there seem to be so many… how did you find yours and how do I go about finding mine?) 
🌱potions. (I used to mix and make potions.. simple things.. as a child. Legit stuff like lavender and honey together to make someone feel calm. But I don’t know if this is a big thing or how to dive more into it.) 
🌱intentions. (I sage my home and always set an intention. Is this something I should do with other things I do?) 
🌱where did you being in your Wicca journey and where would you suggest someone else begins? 
🌱what “kind” of witches are there? How do I know what I am? 
🌱I am an empath. I can sense and actually feel others physical and spiritual pains or feelings. Is there anyone else that understands this? I always feel like there is too much “input” and not enough “output” as I say.. 
🌱I feel very “in touch” with the weather. Is that a thing? 
🌱I cannot keep plants alive. I honestly believe it has something to do with the fact that I can feel the consciousness of plants but I can’t feel what they need. I can feel their “emotions” but not what they need. Could this be because they don’t give out as much output and I’m not in tune to that? Idk I feel like I sound crazy. 
🌱is astral projecting a thing? How did you start? 
🌱I want to know as much as possible about herbs and crystals. Where do I start? 
🌱what is the difference between “light” and “dark”? 
🌱is there anyone out there that you can point me to.. a group of people or one person that can guide me or be my mentor ? Thank you. As always, thank you for sharing even if you cannot answer this… I know I can’t be the only one out here with questions and I know the answers are out there… I just don’t know where to find them… 💕🐋🌱

My journey thus far.

As long as I can remember, I have been drawn to Paganism and Wicca. Growing up in Salem Massachusetts I was always fascinated by the Occult shops scattered through my beautiful city. Sure, around Halloween it becomes rather commercialized here but the energy and acceptance year round towards the Wiccan and Pagan community is infectious. I always knew on some level this is the path that I would eventually take. I can not even explain how wonderful I have felt since deciding to really buckle down and dedicate time to learning all that I can about Wicca. I feel like a part of me is at peace, knowing I am finally giving life to something I always wanted to pursue. I see more beauty in things than I ever have. I stop and embrace nature. I feel like my entire being has just been recharged. I have so much to learn and a long road ahead of me, but I am so thrilled to be on this path and knowing there is such a wonderful and helpful Tumblr community to be a part of each step of the way is a great feeling!
