I’m just gonna say this once

Okay, seriously though, why have I been getting asks about Nextale lately?

What corner of the internet showed it off? What is causing this spike of interest in that dead AU?

Well, whatever the case may be, I’m gonna say this once, so listen closely:

The real story of Nextale is and will always be discontinued. It was painful to work on, and even more painful to remember, ESPECIALLY since it nearly cost my relationship with Fire and other stress-related problems with my personal health. We’re also reusing certain concepts and designs into our OWN original stories (of course, un-Undertale’d and more original). I really don’t want to sound so mean about this, but having to remember Nextale again and again within the past month is pushing my limits. In my attempt to lessen the asks, here’s what is and isn’t allowed.

You are NOT ALLOWED to continue its story in any way, shape or form. HOWEVER, you ARE ALLOWED to cameo it in your stories if you want, or use the designs and concepts as inspiration for your own things. 

So once more in bold, giant letters, so the message is across:

Continuing the story from where we left off IS NOT ALLOWED. Cameoing it into your stories OR using Nextale as inspiration for your own AU or otherwise IS ALLOWED.

From this point on, I will be deleting any asks that involves us continuing the AU. If you begin to get aggressive, then you will be immediately blocked.

-INTERMISSION: The Eyes Which Overlook Hesitation-

A single throne in front of a large window overlooks the city. Behind the single, yet imposing seat, a holographic screen materialized, revealing a six-petaled flower head AI with a rather annoyed expression.

Flowey: Great. Just great! We lost two of our better soldiers to the stupid ERG, Muffet failed, that other human’s still alive SOMEHOW, and furthermore, you can’t even RESET now!

???: Nothing we can really do about that, dear Flowey. Muffet knows what would happen if she fails again, and overall, it’s not even that big of a loss. I will say that I knew I should’ve taken the cutting route, but I didn’t want to ruin the new shirt with their blood.

It seemed like the one sitting on the chair didn’t seemed that fazed. In fact, it almost seemed like they were...not even concerned about the matter at hand, especially given the blatant sarcasm at the end. Flowey’s expression transitioned from annoyed to worried.

Flowey: Chara! This is SERIOUS! It may not be that way right now, but what about LATER?

Chara chuckles, with a faint smile on their face.

Chara: I wouldn’t worry too much about that, Flowey. This would be an interesting duel between two determined souls. But for right now....

We’ll just have to see what happens NEXT.

I had this sitting on my computer as a sketch, and it originally was the final page of the intermission pages were just gonna be a full comic...but then time, life and priorities took over.

I give up trying to do a cohesive comic for this because of all that. I might do short comics if I feel like it, or something like what I just did here. Either way, Nextale ain’t dying, just slowed.

I heard yesterday was Fire’s @nextale birthday so... I would like to give him this supposed to be finished yesterday but kinda experimenting how to do painting(?) properly orz

It’s rare to find Teen/Adult Asriel having such *majestic* outfit in AU yish I reaaaallly love his design~ first time I saw him appeared in the comic I was fanboying too much holy fudge-- just... look at him--isn’t he the coolest goat--

when the drawing was in 95% (practically, without the two hands), I say to myself “OMG I’M IMPROVING!!”, and then I remember that I was guiding by the demo drawing in the AU info (25% I must say (I think...))

I don’t even know if in the AU are flying skateboards, BUT I DON’T CARE BECAUSE IT LOOKS GOOD.

and I think I’m the first in draw asriel with his inherited fire magic.
