AMY- When you come to the forum, the first person that you meet is probably Amy, since she’s the Admin and all. I honestly don’t remember the first time that I met Amy, though it was admittedly a while ago. She’s probably one of the most welcoming people on the forum and definitely one of the most welcoming Oldies, though she doesn’t get enough credit for that. I miss the crazy formspring conversations that we used to have, and I do consider her to be a really close friend. She’s insane, but she’s also nice in her own (amyzing) kind of way and she makes me laugh like heck. She’s really a great person, along with being a great writer (hey, I stalked her before I came to the NGFs, okay?) and yeah. I love you, Amy! <3
JENNY- Yet another on the list of ‘people that I admired before I came to the forum’. I don’t know; I just really do remember stalking Jenny’s profile before I came to the NGFs and admiring the fact that she was twelve (at the time), yet she could write loads better than me, a fourteen-year-old. Though she and I are now thirteen and fifteen respectively, that still holds true, though I’d like to think I know her a lot better now than I did then. She’s absolutely hilarious, that much is true, and she’s a drug dealer, so you all can just deal (see what I did there?). I really do love talking to her, I consider her to be a really close friend, and really, if you’re on her good side, she’s one of the sweetest people (but really, don’t get on her bad side). She truly is awesome, and I love you, Jenny. :D
PEARL- Oh gosh, speaking of admiring people’s writing. Like, seriously, I was superbly scared of Pearl simply because of the fact that her writing was just asdfghjkl; worthy. Then I realized that she was actually really nice and that we did have a lot in common, not to mention the fact that we both liked Idol. We would always send long messages on formspring about American Idol. <3 I remember how she converted me to Scotty/Lauren, haha. But these days, I do consider her to be a really close friend, even though I don’t have any idea what we’re talking about a lot of times, tbh. She makes me laugh a lot of times, and we fight over stupid nonsense and she corrects my grammar, but well, that’s the way things work, right? Basically, she’s pretty epic and I love you, Pearl.
ELLA- I remember way back when we used to talk on Formspring and we figured out that we both (at the time) had red hair, and then we declared ourselves red-hair twinnys (though she later betrayed me, my creys). I do also remember all the bets we made (and I lost). I was actually, due to a bet, the first to call her Ella, and yes, I lost that bet as well—though I almost did manage to cover it up! She was the one to corrupt me, so you can blame her for that. I really do love talking to her, as she’s absolutely hilarious, and though she might seem scary, she really only is if you call her a name that she dislikes. I consider her to be a close friend, and her writing is actually really freaking amazing and I am very, very jealous, but yeah. I love you, Ella!
BRI- I got the immense pleasure of being Bri’s first real friend on fanfiction, and of course, I don’t regret it—how would I? We used to talk through reviews, as Bri had her PMs disabled, and then she came to the NGFs, much to my pleasure, and it was there that we actually became good friends. Bri’s amazing, obviously, as everyone should know by now. She’s probably had more of an influence on my life than even she knows, and I really do adore talking to her and miss her a lot. She’s one of the nicest people that I know—seriously, guys, there’s a level of nice that’s called Bri-level nice, not even kidding—and I admire her for that. Of course, there’s also her fabulous writing to admire. I consider her to be a close friend, and I love you, Bri!
ZHIE- So, we were both newbies at around the same time. We were friends from the beginning and talked a lot, and we became close after only a little bit. We would always PM, and she quickly became one of my best friends. I love talking to her, and even though we don’t talk as much anymore, I still do miss her a lot and love her a lot. She’s probably one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and she cares for everyone and normally disregards her own needs. She’s a beautiful person inside and out, and hey, everyone knows that the ship MadLoganZhie has always been the best ship, right? ;)
AIMY- To be honest, Aimy scared me for longer than I’d like to admit. I always thought she hated me for some reason or another, and I admired her because let’s face it, she’s an amazing writer. But after a while, I found out that she was actually really nice and hilarious. We’d talk on formspring and on the forum, and I found out that she was actually really crazy, however normal she may seem. And I don’t really talk to her as much anymore, but I still do love her. <3 She’s really awesome, not going to lie.
KAYE- I remember when she first came to the forum, and Bri basically attacked her ;) I thought then that she pretty much had to be amazing. Then I read her writing, and I learned that I was right. Her writing is extremely quality. Not to mention she’s sort of hilarious and always very encouraging, along with slightly insane—I mean, who else would come up with a creative character like ‘Kay’? xD I’ve talked to her more often lately and found out how fun she really is, and I must say that I love her.
LISTEN- I remember her as being one of the first people to greet me when I came to the forum, and that pretty much sums her up right there. She’s one of the friendliest, sweetest, most caring people that you will ever meet, and I love talking to her. She’s also a bit insane and corruptive—I mean, without her, where would the ICTriplets be? She’s always gone out of her way to make me feel included, and since she’s not on that much, I miss talking to her. She’s really a lovely person, slightly hilarious, always very caring, welcoming, and friendly to everyone that she meets, a close friend of mine, and I really do love her a lot.
BLUE- I remember when she first came to the forum, and everyone was so excited to see her there! However, I was one of the few that hadn’t met her beforehand, so I had no idea why. I do know now, though. She’s legitimately one of the nicest people that I have ever met. Even if she’s in a bad mood, she won’t tell anyone, because she’d rather help people out than have people help her out. She cares for everyone, no matter who they are, and she always leaves lovely reviews on my (and everyone else’s) fics. She’s really a beautiful person, both on the inside and out, and I really love talking to her. I consider her a close friend and I love her.
ELLIE- Truthfully, I was always really scared of Ellie, haha. Not because she’s unwelcoming, unfriendly, or unkind, but simply because she’s one of those people whose fics you read and you’re like, whoa, how could they ever want to be friends with me? (to be honest, there are a lot of NGFs that I think of like that.) Anyway, she’s really actually a lovely person, and also pretty darn hilarious (and bri-ellie-ant ;)). She’s always caring and fun to talk to, even though she’s extremely corruptive, not going to lie. Anyway, I love her as well.
SIDDY- Well, she’s one of the most insane people I’ve ever met, but I love her for it. I remember when we were on formspring and she used to go on about bald!Louis and Scorpius drowning to get to Narnia, and I always thought it was the funniest thing ever. She always knows how to make me laugh, and she’s really fun, sweet, and welcoming. She likes to tease me, but it’s all right because I tease her too. xD And I still remember that one time when we creeped out her brother! She’s a good friend of mine, and I really do adore her. DRI- I was always intimidated by Dri, even though she did come not long before me. I just always thought that she disliked me ;) Then I came to realize that she was actually really hilarious (I mean, almost everything she says is kind of hilarious) and that she was extremely fun to talk to. We first really became friends over the whole Drilinquent/Madelinquent thing, because we were in opposite timezones at the time and I only really talked to her when I was in school or she was in school. I love talking to her, and I love her writing, and I love her. Love you, Dri!
HEATHER- Heather’s really a lovely person. She leaves beautiful reviews and writes beautiful stories, and she’s beautiful on both the outside and the inside. She always manages to make me smile when I’m feeling down, and she’s just really sweet to everyone that she meets. I think she’s just wonderful and I don’t really talk to her as much anymore, so I do miss her a lot. Love you, Heather!
LOWI- Lowi’s a really, really sweet girl. She always reviews fics and gives people wonderful compliments, and she’s incredibly selfless. If you’re ever feeling down, you’ll probably get a PM from her to encourage you and make you smile. She’s just amazing, both on the inside and out, and I always do love talking to her even if I don’t really talk to her too often—I wish I could talk to her more! She’s really amazing, and I love her.
RACHEL- I remember that I first met her on the HPFC in the chat thread, and we became friends from there. Then I dragged her over to the NGFs and we became better friends there. I think that she’s a bit insane, but that’s kind of normal for our forum. She always has a way to make people laugh or to make them smile, and I think that she deserves the best. Her writing is pretty fabulous and I love how friendly, welcoming, and lovely she is. I always do love talking to her, and I think she’s pretty amazing. Love you, Rachel! <3
JANE- Okay I just typed Jade, which shows my slight obsession, but that’s irrelevant. I met Jane when she reviewed some of my stories, and we would always debate about whether Dominique/Scorpius should even be considered a pairing, as she really does love Rose/Scorpius. Then I dragged her over to the NGFs and just like before, we became better friends there. I think she’s a bit crazy and that her breathing is really creepy, but I think that her writing’s pretty epic and that she’s a good, insane friend. I love her a lot. <3
CHI- I remember when Chi was a newbie and she tried to get us all to call her The Almighty Cheesy One. Well, I suppose you can see how well that worked out, but she stuck with the forum anyway, and we became friends through there. I remember the old days with the ‘moose’, but now she’s just high all the time and pretty crazy and she tries to get me to say that I love her 5ever but well, we’ll see about that. Anyway, I think she’s pretty funny and I do love talking to her J except I really h8 her, okay, okay, I’m kidding. Love you, Chi <3
LEESH- Well, I remember everyone seemed to know Leesh before I did, because they’d met her on the Slytherin Corner, but we became friends through the NGFs. I still remember when we would always ‘fight’ as Sirius and Lily, because we were just that cool. I do love talking to her and I don’t talk to her as much anymore, but I love her a lot. She’s a funny person, and she’s ‘totally awesome’ and she’s always been there for me when I’m down, so I love you, Leesh. <3
ELLA- Okay, I remember back in the old days when we were kind of insane and we did all kind of insane stuff, including becoming Co-Captains, hence the CC in CPTB or whatever it is J Even if she’s on all kinds of drugs, I think she’s completely awesome and very unafraid to be herself. She always makes me laugh with the random but hilarious things that she says, and her writing is amazing even if she does not write enough ;) I love talking to her and I love how we have this whole sexy rehab thing going on and she’s just awesome. POTATO- I remember when she was a newbie, because she was sort of cute in those days. :D She still is, and she’s one of those people that is nice to everyone. I love how she doesn’t really complain often and is always willing to help people out. She’s always complimenting people and being pretty much hilarious, and she’s really fun to talk to. She always knows how to make people smile and she’s really fun, to be honest. I love you, Potato <3
STARS- Stars was a newbie ‘back in the day’, and I remember that we all kind of jumped on her and she was just like O_O. She and Janey and I became Relient K triplets upon discovering that we all liked that band, and we were pretty good friends from then on. I think she’s kind of hilarious (and I do adore her accent, just saying!). She’s always fun to talk to and I miss her because we don’t talk as often anymore. Love you, Stars!
MITTENS- Mittens is someone that I’m pretty sure that I met over on the HPFC first, though I sometimes find it hard to remember. We became friends through there and then later on the NGFs and I’ve just realized how weird a word Mittens is (though I do actually like her real name!). She’s insane, just like the rest of them, and I find her to be hilarious and funny and even though we don’t talk anymore, I miss her a lot and everything. Love you, Mittens !
BECCA- I’m just sitting here remembering back in the day, when Becca ‘ruled the world’ and she was basically everyone’s older sister and giggling. Things were pretty cool back then. But seriously, I think she’s one of the most mature people on the forum, very reasonable, but very funny as well. I do love talking to her and I do miss her a lot because well, she doesn’t come on that much anymore, but I’m glad we’ve gotten to talk more lately. Love you, Becca!
LOUISE- Louise is really a lovely girl. I think she’s very caring and always willing to be there for everyone, and she’s just a fun girl. I think she’s a bit insane as well, but oh well ;) She’s one of the newer people on this list, and I haven’t known her as long, but I admit that I love her anyway. Love you, Louise!
SUMMER- I remember that I first met Summer when she nominated me as one of the best NextGen authors, and I was seriously like O__O. Then she came over to the NGF forum and I was very happy to see her there. She’s actually very hilarious, along with being a pretty amazing author. She always makes people smile, and she really does have a strong personality. She’s one of the people that you always care about. Love you, Summer! <3
NICOLE- I don’t really remember how we met, but I do remember that she was always very nice to me. I always enjoy reading her fics, as they’re pretty darn amazing, and though we haven’t talked much lately, we’re talking more, which is great. I love her enthusiasm for Harry Potter and she always makes me smile. Love you, Nic! <3
VERITY- Verity was a ‘newbie’ during the time of the ‘good old days’ (which admittedly makes me sound like an ornery old lady, but oh well), and we all attacked her as well. She’s got this insanely awesome sense of humor that always makes me laugh, and she’s very caring to everyone that she meets. She’s also very insane, and her name is Ver-y fun to make puns with, and let’s not even mention her generally amazing writing. We don’t talk a lot anymore but I just want to say that I miss her a lot. Love you, Ver!
LOONY- I remember her obsession with Skandar when she was a newbie. She's always been full of life and generally hilarious, and she really does honestly care about everyone. She's a fun person to talk to and she's always cheered me up when I needed it. She's a wonderful person and I must say that I really do love her a lot. Love you, Loony!
BETH- I remember when Beth was a newbie, and she was always so filled with enthusiasm about everything. She’s still filled with enthusiasm today for everyone and everything she does, which is very amazing. She always makes people smile and fills them with joy, and I think of her as a very sweet person who always has a lot of jokes to bring out. I haven’t seen her around much lately, but I do love her a lot anyway. Love you, Beth!
HOPE- Well, we don’t talk a lot anymore, but Hope was there during the Old Days and I always enjoyed her fake fights with pretty much everyone, because if you haven’t noticed, Hope is hilarious. She’s really an amazing writer, and I swear that I’ve always stalked her writing and wished that she would write more. She also runs one of the most quality blogs on tumblr, not going to lie. ROSE- I don’t talk a lot to her anymore, which saddens me because she was one of my closest friends, but I miss her a lot. She’s one of the sweetest people that you will ever meet and she is always there for everyone that she knows. She’s friendly, welcoming, and generally a brilliant person.
