This is SO IMPORTANT to me! Less than 6 hours (LINK IN BIO!) to #VOTE & PLEASE, PLEASE READ... THIS IS VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART... (also, it's the LAST DAY in ROUND 4! Almost there)...! PLEASE read: My personal and important notes about the #nextmaximcovermodel contest right now: This isn't a fame contest for me. This is SO much more. Bear with me here: yes, I have a particularly raunchy mind and from long ago, I have always had a subscription to #MaximMagazine and fantasized about being one of the girls in #MaximMag, but never ever thought that could be me. Today, I have a very real chance at that; #disability is part of who I am. I've always had a dirty sense of humor and loved to ACTUALLY read the articles... that is, until I became overwhelmingly #disabled and lost my ability to read for about 4 years. I unsubscribed from #Maxim and mostly from life because it was too heartbreaking to not be able to read novels, get out of bed, speak clearly, go 2 days without a seizure and just simply be me (I literally lost everything) as I did each night and read magazines that I truly enjoyed--#Maxim being a favorite. It is silly, fun, at times it is serious and very insightful and always a great read. On that note, when I regained my ability to read and write, almost immediately after... I was gifted with the opportunity to be in the running for the #nextmaximcovergirl this year from an email sent to me by Maxim to compete. I did not know the contest even existed and they scouted me. How awesome is that?! 😍 It's astonishing to me that I am in 2nd place in my group as I never thought I would EVER be a model, a force of love and strength and wit with snark as my brand, that I would heal, get better, yet here I am, and that is truly incredible! I don't compete with anyone but myself, so I don't know who is in the number one spot in my group. I believe this happens for a reason.
