All I can say is ‘WOW!’ Today I saw my new GP. I recently moved elsewhere so had to change practices. My new GP had looked up EDS and Anaesthesia Dolorosa! That’s never happened before. I’ve always had to spend ages explaining what they are but more so with AD as it’s so rare. He was fantastic and so helpful, sympathetic without being patronising and condescending and also funny without being disrespectful! It is rare to come across doctors like this so I am hoping he doesn’t decide to move on! I was there for 35 mins instead of the allotted 10 mins and he made no attempt to hurry me out. It was the first face to face consultation I’ve had with a GP for almost 2 years and he had requested the face to face after reading my triage form! Can we have more doctors like this please!!!! What a gem 😃
