Eddie Lacy is the power running back that the Green Bay Packers have been demanding over the past few years. He has been so successful in Green Bay’s weather that he has been nicknamed Snowplow Eddie. Lacy is one of the strongest running backs in the NFL and has popped off defenders helmets from his downhill running. He may not look the fastest at 230 pounds, but has surprising 4.4 breakaway speed. Because of arguably the best Quarterback in the NFL Aaron Rodgers, a lot of space opens up for Lacy in the running game and he has proved that he attacks that space and earns every yard.

There were a lot of questions revolving around the capabilities of the Ravens backfield with the departure of Ray Rice. There hadn’t really been a stand out #2 running back in Baltimore, but Justin Forsett emerged and was more than capable to lead the pack even with other young talented running backs on the depth chart. Justin Forsett in his 7th season had never really been the go to running back for any of the teams he had been apart of, but I feel has has at least two more years left with Baltimore especially since he has not been severely over worked over his career. He has great vision, extremely capable of shedding arm tackles, and is not afraid to run downhill. That is the kind of running back that succeeds in Baltimore.

LeSean McCoy has been one of my favorite playersthe past few years. Although he wasn't coined the nickname Shady for being quick, he earns that title as Shady with his great vision and ankle breaking jukes. His stats have taken a massive hit this season compared to years previous. The Philadelphia Eagles turned to a pass first approach and Jeremy Maclin saw most of the looks in the first half of the season. When the Eagles did run to LeSean it was never really effective because the Eagles Offensive Line was plagued with injury. As the offensive line started to get more healthy, LeSean started to pick up steam but was never as dominant as 2013 especially in the passing game.

C.J. Anderson is the perfect fit for the Peyton Manning led Denver Broncos offense. At 5 foot 8 inches and 225 pounds, C.J. Anderson explodes through holes for positive yardage. Anderson was an undrafted free agent signing for the Broncos, but had an unbelievable season for the Broncos in his second year pro. Despite only being given over 10 carries during week 10 of the season, Anderson nearly ran for 1000 yards on the season including a 168 yard performance against the stout Kansas City Chiefs defense. I expect Anderson to go as far as Peyton Manning will take him next season, and with the weapons the Broncos offense has, it’s likely that C.J. Anderson will receive Pro Bowl honors for the second time in his career during the 2015 season.

Jeremy Hill was a BEAST coming out of LSU, and nothing changed in his first year in the NFL. He had a slow start with the Cincinnati Bengals due to the fact a large portion of the carries were given to Giovani Bernard, but he started picking up steam mid season and had some huge games including a 160 yard 2 Touchdown performance. The big issue with Jeremy Hill is his ability to hold onto the ball. He had bad fumble problems in 2014, but if he can hold onto the ball and continue to run for over 5 yards a carry, expect him to climb to the top of the leagues best running backs.
