NEO XYX is the first NEOGEO game ever with a true vertical scrolling screen (TATE)! The score system is based on medal chaining and a mild rank system. Bombs are build by collecting powerups. The Dreamcast version has 4 screen modes, 2 more than the NEOGEO version. Screen modes: ARCADE - true tate/vertical HORIZONTAL - rotated controls and HUD VERTICAL - vertical in portrait view VERTICAL.S - vertical in portrait view with scaling The game runs at 60hz. The video only shows 30hz. Footage was taken of the NEOGEO version.
