The vibes that were radiating off of the boys yesterday was giving me FOMO 🥲 they were just having so much fun and I loved seeing it.

Sooo the bruins made a trade !

Here’s some basic info Incase you wanna know a lil more :)

David Backes ➝ Anaheim (BOS is keeping 25% of his contract = 1.5mil in trash money)

David Backes hasn’t been with the Bruins for very long, but at this point he’s been kind of dead to the Bruins from a contract standpoint. He’s had good days and bad days, but all in all he became part of the Bruins family. I seriously wish him the best of luck, and wish him and his family a nice transition to Anaheim !

Axel Andersson ➝ Anaheim

Axel was drafted in the second round of the 2018 draft. He’s 18 years old and plays right hand D. He’s honestly a cutie and I’ll miss him. His plan was to play in Providence this year but it didn’t end up working, and some thought he wasn’t the prospect that the Bruins thought they were drafting.

2020 First Round Pick ➝ Anaheim

no clue who they are, very well may have been the future face of the franchise. this pick will probably be around late 20’s -30’s just because Boston is looking to make a deep playoff run.

Ondrej Kase ➝ Boston

People think the reason Anaheim was willing to let go of Kase was because of how seemingly injury prone he happens to be. But he’s hard working and commonly played on the second line in Anaheim. He’s been out the past couple of games due to a (head?) injury.

According to some sources Boston isn’t done trading quite yet. Some people think New Jersey’s Kyle Palmieri is someone we should look for but in all honesty, that second line needs to be completed.

We also need to make sure we have enough money for re-signing DeBrusk, Krug, etc.
