let me talk about why i love bridget’s “makeover” in trolls so much--it’s not something that really has anything to do with me, as much as it has to do with my little sister imani.

imani, like me, wears glasses, and unlike me, had a really bad overbite as a kid. unfortunately, she had to live through some bullying and people outright calling her ugly. >:(

so to see a character who essentially has a lot of the same appearance that my sister does get a makeover that doesn’t change her face at all--not even the buck teeth means a lot to me! especially after seeing so many pieces of media that treat makeovers as borderline plastic surgeries (*GLARES AT BRATZ). i don’t know if it means that much to imani, but as her sister, it definitely means a lot to me. thank you, trolls. ♥
