nicayall said: Dude, your handwriting is way better than mine. I kind of love it. And we have the opposite problem - with cursive, I just kept switching back to print, haha.
Okay first, no, I like your handwriting, don’t drag yourself. Also, I remember looking at it handwriting literally 5 minutes ago and thinking, ‘damn, them’s some nice straight caps right there mhmmmmmmmmm’. Didn’t even occur to me that our handwritings are essentially polar opposites- print and cursive, caps and non, pencil and pen, straight and slanted. That there is pretty cool.
Trying print is like having my non-dominant thumb on top when I clasp my hands. Inexplicably bone-deep wrong. It’s hilarious to think there’s someone out there with the opposite problem. Ah, muscle memory, you delightful thing.

But that's all kinds of awesome?? All I did was show my sleepy butt up at the polls this morning (California) and drop off a mail-in ballot I was too lazy to put in the mail yesterday. You're, like, part of the process.
honestly that’s better than i did! I’m a dummy and completely forgot to get an absentee ballot so.... i didn’t even vote......

@melodiousramblings I vote you do it. ;) You can also see a mostly current list of participants on the main blog if that interests you.
Ooooo, I recognize some names on both lists. Anyways, there does seem to be a need for more writers, hmmm... Yes, I might just sign up...
Writers meme: O, R, Y, if you please.
Thank you, love! Yes, I always read the tags on posts. That’s where people are the funniest and most honest, I’ve found. Also, I like your theme.
Laur stole O and Y from you, sorry! You can ask me others, if you want! Forgive me, I had to link to someone else’s blog because for some reason Tumblr decided to erase the body of the post on my blog. Does anyone else have that problem? Because this is not the first time this has happened to me.
R: What genre do you write in?
It depends. TPOS is very much science fiction YA even though I’m not crazy about YA. I like to write things that take place in the modern day or after because I feel more comfortable writing dialogue in those time periods. I want to dive into historical fiction, though! Some day...
Length-wise I know you didn’t ask but you’re getting it anyway because I like to talk, I write a lot of flash fiction. For whatever reason, I can write very succinct stories even though I tend to go on forever when I’m speaking and answering questions. TPOS currently has a problem of being too short. I’m working on an outline now to expand the story.

Oh heck yes. I listened to that CD (because this was a time when I still bought CDs, holy god) on repeat in my (ducks) walkman on the way to and from uni lessons. Hard to believe that was just (1)4 years ago. Screams a little at that first digit for even existing.
DUDE YES it was like, one of the first CDs I ripped onto my computer because holy wow that was a thing you could do
and we listened to it in my bff’s car with her CD walkman hooked up to the stereo with one of those little cassette tape adapters on our way to work overnight at Walmart (where practically every single on the album was playing on the PA radio anyway...)

I have no clue what this fandom is (is it a fandom?) but I am ALL FOR it. Lovely images.
Thank you! It’s actually from one of my favourite manga, Rurouni Kenshin (because I am apparently seventeen again), and I decided to draw some of my interpretations of the main character because he’s my fave and because @marianthehawke gave me ideas a while back.
