ppl need to chill out and let people ship what they want. i've seen so many posts talking about how tyzula and jetko are """"abusive""" just bc their relationships aren't the most healthy in canon. there's nothing wrong with liking or exploring ships that aren't all nice, fluffy, and perfect

yeah ikr! and i ship both of those + zutara and i've gotten my fair share of anons calling me toxic for enjoying fictional ships!

sometimes you can like something problematic unapologetically because shit is nuanced and interpretations vary per person. and do i get why people may be uncomfortable with those ships? sure. but they sure as hell don't get to police what i like to see in fiction :)

aw thanks aha this is really sweet. i was having a shit day with school yesterday and this lit me up :)

and yeah! katara stans know where it’s at and value katara before ships. that’s actually why i ship pretty much anything too! i think interpretations of ships matter more and that you can’t generalize them at a surface level. i’m just not really a big fan of what happened to her in canon and it’s easy to rewrite everything as zutara rather than fix the problems in the writing :)

As someone who dislikes tyzula I'm perplexed at the amount of asks you're getting that are telling you to stop shipping it. Like why don't these people just block the tags or stop following blogs that ship it? That way they won't see any more tyzula content. Badabing badaboom problem solved.

it seems so simple, right? i filter zvkka and m@ilee because i don’t really like those ships. i don’t go into the inboxes of people who ship it? and like do they think that because an anon told me one of my fave ships is abusive i’m going to stop shipping it? like bro i’m sorry that’s not how it works *cries*

i mean i get that i am 90% a zutara blog, but i tag all the tyzula i post with #tyzula so it’s easy to filter :)
