That wasn’t even his name, but it’s what I put in my phone. His name was actually “Ramey”. He seemed kinda cute, and the conversation was fine, so we met up.
He seemed he could make fun of himself, He was cute, another why not there’s nothing wrong with him scenarios.
We texted back and forth very lightly before deciding to meet up for a drink. I was babysitting that evening a few miles from my house, and when my shift wrapped up, I made my way to Oliver Twist - a first date favorite.
He was sitting at the table and stood up to give me a hug - he was about 5’9” just as his profile said. He looked like he worked out, nice fitted, perhaps slightly tight, t-shirt to show off his muscles.
He didn’t smile much, though the only reason he laughed was because of the jokes I made. He didn’t ask very many questions, nor seemed as engaged. There was something sweet about him - not the kind of sweet where he was kind and thoughtful, but the kind of sweet meaning he appeared a little shy.
The date only lasted about an hour or so, and when the bill came we split it in two. I didn’t really see it going anywhere, but saw myself willig to go on a second date if he asked me out again.
But it looked like we were both in the clear
