i'm very curious for the story of how Lucky found out he was allergic to bees.

As a child Lucky made the mistake of running joyously out into the middle of a California poppy bloom barefoot, as children do. He stepped on at least one (regular sized) bee on his way in and at least ten (regular sized) bees on his way out. 

Luckily for him he was simply swollen and miserable, as opposed to swollen, miserable, and dead. But a guy never gets over something like that.
