Random headcanons/theories about shaman king characters that are never talked about
A/N; The sk fandom isn't as main stream or widespread like other fandoms and some things haven't be said or talked about enough.
Some of these things might be based on my personal perspective so they may or may not be canon. Also this a little thing I'm doing so let me know if you want me do one for a specific character but i mostly focus on underrated characters. ALSO THERE MIGHT BE SOME slight MANGA SPOILERS JUST TO BE SAFE but i'll try to be as vague as possible. I went on a little rant for Tamao's bit cause she deserved better.
Nichrome
He's actually a prodigy.We we're never really told his age but i'm assuming he's between the ages of 8-14. some sources say he was born in 1990 making him about the same age as Jeanne but I'm uncertain if that's confirmed by Takei. But nevertheless he did become a patch official at a tender age. Being a patch official is honestly a huge deal in the shaman world,they literally do not just pick anyone to do the job. And yes ,the main reason he was picked was to replace his brother but I doubt if he we're incompetent that they'd pick him. I'm sure they saw some potential in him aside's the fact that he is/was chrome's brother
Pirika/Pirica
She may have had more potential than she let on. This more of a speculation but I feel Pirika is actually stronger that she's portrayed to be or at least has the potential to become a formidable shaman. Pirika instead of training or developing herself as a shaman chose to invest her time in training her brother because she wanted him to be the shaman king and save the koropokkuru .We aren't aware of how she trains him or what sort of training methods Horohoro is subjected to but we can tell it's pretty intensive and it's even been compared to Anna's style of training. That's definitely an indicator that she trained him well . You can just imagine if she decided to apply them,there's a possibility she may or not have become a really badass shaman if she had trained herself to do so. She definitely deserved more screen time and her own storyline. But alas it's simply a matter of what if 's as we may never truly know
Tamao
she had always been suppressing her true feelings . I think many fans were surprised to see the complete 180 in Tamao's behavior. The events that happened later on were just the straws that broke the camel's back. People fail to acknowledge the fact that Tamao honestly sacrificed a lot and she was never given enough credit. It was kind of the Asakura family to take her in and raise her but her sole purpose since she could remember was to serve the Asakura family which she still does up till this day. She had to suppress her feelings for Yoh because he was already set to marry Anna. She has sacrificed a lot to help the Asakura family and has never once done anything that wasn't for their benefit. Her mentally snapping was due to all the pressure and emotions she had been suppressing during her childhood and the loss of someone she looked up to set her off. This isn't necessarily painting the Asakura family as the villains but one would wonder how things would have gone for her if she wasn't affiliated with them or allowed to have some form of freedom outside from them. she honestly deserved better .
