Harry is also human...
That’s it.
I just remembered nick told me some white man that works nights/days with him at the store filed some kinda equality thing with the store director about the fact that shes hired so many black people. And he was told by the store director (a white woman) that he couldnt do that because he white. Apparently hes still doing it.
I think that the worst part of this conversation was the whole time nick was like on this guys side. Not in the concern about black people being hired but on the side of like "wow that was a pretty bullshit thing for her to say to him huh? Bet she'll get in trouble for it" and I just...
Sighs
A hulking grey wolf stands in his path, eyes of blue shining in the pale light of the moon. Drool seeps from her maw with a decisive snarl. What does he do?
For Nick it would be one thing if it was an angel, or a demon, or if it was something worth sassing at the given moment to stall. But animals with wild, hungry eyes were terrifying in a way that other things were not. They didn’t have the same cause to stand behind that certain other things did. It was neither hellish, nor heavenly, it just was.
With a sharp inhale, and his hands up in defense, he took a small step back. He otherwise made no other sudden moves yet. He refused to run. He couldn’t outrun a wolf. And as far as he was aware, he couldn’t fight one directly either.
He wasn’t like some of his friends, and unable to die. He was mortal and he could only hope it wouldn’t eat him.
ok but has anyone seen the music video for nick's new song chains ?
