is genius i love it. they all actually meet at queer spaces and lgbt+ music gigs/festivals and bond over a love of electropop music and neon colours and pretty people of all genders. they form their cool queer band of bis (although they like to call themselves “the gays” as well!!) and it’s a shock to them when they become famous and people aren’t aware of their sexualities. like they’ll all be talking in an interview about how hot billie joe armstrong is and suddenly the interviewer will ask “hang on you all like boys???” and nick just adds “and girls too!!!” and then sean “and nonbinary people!!!” and they all just laugh
