The plan was simple: Climb up a building, reach the rooftop and run across as many structures as she could, throwing in as many back-flips as she could! And this city made it all so easy, as if it were built to be scaled! There was always perfect little gaps to gain leverage and the window sills made hopping between levels even easier. And she appreciated that so many people left their windows open...

“Your voice is so pretty!”

... But maybe other people wouldn’t appreciate strangers peeking in on their private time. At least she only stuck her torso in to talk to the pigtailed girl.

As much as they had talked, Rose didn't know why she was nervous to meet Nico. It was most likely just the normal meeting-an-internet-in-real-life nervousness, but she really hoped that he'd still like her in person. It was ridiculous to worry about, but despite everything they had talked about, large portions of their lives were just left out. They had decided to meet at a coffee shop, just because lots of sites recommended a public place for the first time you met someone off of the internet. Rose didn't really have any doubts about Nico, but she also didn't want to just show up at his house, so she appreciated that entire idea. Regardless, Rose sat at a table and waited, sipping some hot chocolate that she had bought. She had purposely shown up around twenty minutes early, just so she could get used to the atmosphere of the entire coffee shop. Now it was just time to wait.
