As much as they had talked, Rose didn't know why she was nervous to meet Nico. It was most likely just the normal meeting-an-internet-in-real-life nervousness, but she really hoped that he'd still like her in person. It was ridiculous to worry about, but despite everything they had talked about, large portions of their lives were just left out. They had decided to meet at a coffee shop, just because lots of sites recommended a public place for the first time you met someone off of the internet. Rose didn't really have any doubts about Nico, but she also didn't want to just show up at his house, so she appreciated that entire idea. Regardless, Rose sat at a table and waited, sipping some hot chocolate that she had bought. She had purposely shown up around twenty minutes early, just so she could get used to the atmosphere of the entire coffee shop. Now it was just time to wait.

Welcome back Nico! You will be in Eori 101. Your Tier One power will be able to shadow travel up to the nearest town with up to one other person once per day. Your Tier Two power will be to create a small earthquake 50 ft in diameter powerful enough to make all people in it’s diameter unsteady on their feet, possibly knock over unsuspecting targets, and crack the ground up to 1 ft deep. You can use this ability once every eight hours. Your Tier Three power will be to raise a recently deceased humanoid and have them fight for you. You can raise a total of three dead per day.

In addition, you may place your skills and other information on your old character page, just be sure not to keep any of the old stats too! Also, make sure you choose a new skill from the warrior class.

<You don't plan on using it though. At least not really. You don't care who wins or loses this competition. You're not exactly hiding the fact that you aren't taking this seriously at all. You're just playing with your new friend, testing him even. You don't care about the combat or the prize. You're interested in reactions and methods. The other's response to being dragged around by and entered into a fighting tournament by a near stranger and what he does or says about this.

He reminds you of Karkat on the surface, and you're curious how deep the resemblance lies, but besides that the other's scent itself is a point that sparks your interest. He smells different than the other humans you've met. You haven't spent enough time with him to get a clear idea what the difference is or why it caught your nose, but it left you curious and now the poor guy has to deal with your grey ass.>

Ariadne's Ballad || Closed Event

[ When you heard the term "festival" you were pretty sure this was gonna be fun. Not...this. Whatever it is. ]

[ This is just some kind of glorified farmer's market. Sure, the food is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and there's no shortage of amusing people-watching opportunities, but you were kind of hoping for something more hilariously debauched. Although, you guess, it's only the first night of the festival; there's plenty of time for people to get sloppy drunk as the weeks go on. ]

[ There's a combat attraction and some kind of circus. You're not too sure if you'd want to participate in either of those. The first is...well, you're not really a man for unarmed combat, are you? And the second gives you major anxiety about clowns. ]

[ The maze, though, that might be fun. You've never done a corn maze before, despite John's continuous teasing that since you're from Texas you must be some kind of hick. It's huge, though, like some Harry Potter grade bullshit, and you're a little afraid you'd get lost if you went on your own. ]

[ While you're contemplating the maze, you notice a familiar mop of black hair. You smirk to yourself. ]

DAVE: yo

[ You call to Nico, wiggling your fingers at him. ]

DAVE: you thinkin of taking the plunge?

Two Angels, One Apartment [closed]

With a small click of his tongue, Dark Pit stared at his supposed new home. He wasn't privy to what the heck an apartment was, but it was sure no Palace in the Sky. Not that he had any particular attachment to his old world, but he wasn't quick to welcome the sudden change of scenery. Even the sorry explanation for why this happened wasn't much to change his dissatisfaction. All the same, there wasn't much that the angel could do about it so he'll just have to deal with it and complain later.

Living and surviving on his own wasn't anything new to him at the very least. Even without some divinely blessed weapon, hunting regular animals was a cakewalk and he knew his way around making a decent meal. Enough food and a place to sleep was all Dark Pit needed to get by. With that in mind, maybe this place wouldn't be half bad. No naggy goddesses to ruffle his feathers. Taking a tentative step inside the empty room, he took a quick glance around before unceremoniously dropping his catch of the day on the table.

The replica stared at the kitchen with a lazy stare. Just because he could cook doesn't mean he was the biggest fan of the process. Sighing quietly, Dark Pit began walking towards the oven. Seemingly out of nowhere, a shadow suddenly appeared in his path mid-step. Too slow to stop himself, the angel bumped straight into the new presence.
