When I turned around, I almost jumped out of my skin!  There was an amazing portrait sitting up behind some vases.  It was of a very beautiful red-headed woman....it had to be a portrait of Thymian Boedell.

ELIAS- “This is going downstairs!  We need to hang this in the living room.!”

And as I looked a little further and my eyes became more accustomed to the dim lighting, I saw another portrait...

This one was actually hanging up near a table. with some books on it and other things...In the corner of the portrait it read... “Nico Boedell, Realm Master”

ELIAS- “WOW!  He really looks like me...or I look like him! This one is going downstairs too.  Nico was Thymian’s father, so they would hang downstairs next to one another.”

 And as I turned....I saw a large book sitting on the table...could this be?

LENNON- “I most certainly can take them over to see the house...I would love to!!  Plus I have a gift for you to take with you once you are ready to move in...”

DEMI- “Grandfather Lennon, how sweet of you.”

LENNON- “It’s nothing really, just a family photograph.”

DEMI- “That will be wonderful....”

She opens the gift and it’s a photograph of Lennon and Nice soon after they moved back to Willow Creek and moved into what is now known as the Thymian house...

ELIAS- “Nico? is that you there?”

I knew it was him. It looked just like the portrait that I found in the attic. But it was like he didn’t hear me?

ELIAS- “NICO?  Grandfather?”

NICO- “Elias James.... you are certainly a Boedell.  Not only a Boedell, but also a Goth. You hold the power son. The power of all of us. Of Saffie, and my daughter Thymian...Cruz, and powers of even Bella Goth. The power to help those that are hiding and in fear. You must seek out your gifts, my son....”

ELIAS- “But my Grandmother---”

NICO- “Vada did what she thought was best, and it was for that time.  But now the time has come to return, Elias. Return to the power and the fight before all of our kind are defeated.”

ELIAS- “But we don’t even know who the enemy is?”

DANTE “Nico Boedell, huh?

ELIAS- “Yes, that’s him. Rised by his father’s mother, unaware his entire young life that he held powers that were unimaginable. Became a coven master, and raised his daughter along with his partner, Lennon Goth.”

DANTE- “One of the few that lived a long life, but saw his own daughter die young and had to find his grandson in the jungles. How did they do it. Go on through all of that tragedy?”

ELIAS- “It was taught to them to be that way. Regardless of the consequences, the work had to continue. At any cost.”

DANTE- “You believe that Elias?” Continue at any cost?”

Elias knew where this was going, but he didn’t know why. He couldn’t read his half-brother. Was it because they were brothers? Or was his own power blocking his. He still felt emptiness from him.  Maybe that was what he was feeling?

ELIAS- “I suppose, if I would have been raised as he had been. Fighting as a young boy, finding his mother after all that time, and then finding his power. Who knows?

NICO- “Right now, you are your own enemy. You must seek the truth, Elias. Once you seek the truth and learn your gifts, you will know who they are that want to destroy the work that we all have done.”

ELIAS- “I don’t understand any of that....how am I my own enemy. Please tell me who is that is is seeking to destroy us?”

As I continued asking him over and over, he began to fade, without saying another word. He told me nothing! 

I tried to wake up, but I couldn’t, it was as though I was trapped in this dream state, and then I smelled a fragrance. A fragrance that was sweet, and almost like lilacs....

And then I saw her...

NICO- “Thymian? Is that really you?”

THYMIAN- “Of course, who else would be here to welcome you?”

NICO- “You are so beautiful. I want to come, but----

THYMIAN- “I know Daddy, you don’t want to leave Lennon and your boys, but they are going to be fine.  And you can watch over them.”

NICO- “Yes....we can together, right?”

THYMIAN- “You know it. Take my hand daddy...are you ready?”

Nico hears Lennon’s voice.... “It’s okay Nico, you can go. Go with her.  She is here for you.....”

NICO- “Okay, I’m ready.”

And like that, he was gone.

Lennon sobbed but he knew he wasn’t alone, that he with his daughter, and all those that came before him.  And someday he would be there with him as well.

It still didn’t help the hurt and the loss.

Now to go tell Abraham, and Ezil....on this the day of their sons birth.....

When they got back to their room, Lennon could tell that Nico was happy, but also very weak....

NURSE- “You need something for pain, Mr. Boedell?”

NICO- “No sweetheart, nothing more. I am content. Lennon, come closer...”

Lennon moves in closer and put his arms around him...

NICO- “Thank you for a great life, Lennon.  You brought such joy to me.  You were an amazing partner, and fantastic father to our daughter.  I owe you so much, and I feel terrible that I have to leave you alone.  I want you to be happy. Find someone to share your last days with like we planned....”

LENNON- “I won’t need to, Nico. I can be at peace and happy  knowing what we have is real.  It will last me until I go.”

NICO- “No...find someone.  I don’t want you to be alone.  Someone good, like yourself. You deserve it.”

LENNON- “What I have with you Nico was more than I ever could have imagined.”

NURSE- “Mr. Goth, I am going to step out....if you need me, ring, okay?”

LENNON- “Yes, thank you miss.”
