no heart for me like yours
Despite living in a world where 90% of the population finds love by the names on their wrists, there are still taboos to navigate through in a small town where Aariz and Zhenyu lives. Their love will not be accepted, not when Zhenyu doesn’t have Aariz’s name even when the latter has his. Aariz doesn’t even know if he likes Zhenyu that way. Can’t they just stay as friends? A coming-of-age novel about falling in love, the pain of racial discrimination and family values.

A Question | 1971 | Nicolet
Violet wasn’t sure anyone was allowed to be as happy as she was. She’d been out of school for a while now, and working at Ogdens. Slowly but surely she was learning the ropes of the company, and her father was giving her more responsibility. Within the next two years she would be in charge, with her fathers oversight of course but she would be the head of the company. But work wasn’t the sole reason she was so happy, but everything in her life just felt right, mainly, Nick.
They’d been dating a few years now, and Violet still felt like she was in the first few weeks of dating him whenever they were together because she still got butterflies, and could never wipe her smile from her face. Of course when they were leaving school Violet had been worried that things between them might change. And things had changed, but they had changed for the better, which she hadn’t believed possible but they had. She was head over heels in love with him.
She knocked on the door of Nick’s flat, and brushed down her skirt, he’d told her they were going on a date night. This wasn’t uncommon, but she always loved getting a little dressed up and making an effort. When the door opened she grinned, leaning forward and giving him a quick kiss “ ’Lo love”

Pridecraft round 2, Nicolet/Nic, my night elf death knight. Nic is Asexual, Aromantic, and, as she/they recently informed me, Agender. //insert terrible triple-a joke here/
Since Nic is biologically female and took on a few female roles in night elf society (in life Nic was a sentinel), she/her and they/them are both acceptable pronouns. What is preferred hasn’t been decided quite yet, but Nic is a chill character about that kind of thing.
Fun fact, Nic and Meri (from my last pridecraft) are both my oldest characters, and the closest friends, and have been inseparable since Cata (lore-wise late wrath) when I first started and first made them. They adventure together every expansion.
