Shivan paused as he looked at the challenge set neatly on top of the paperwork on his desk, a smile curling his lips. The cleric picked it up with delicate fingers, reading the letter over again before shaking his head slightly. The veil was set to the side, and he put it on, making sure it was secured so as it keep it in place against the bitter winds that always seemed to howl around the Temple of Tavic's halls.
The walk to the High King's castle was brief, and he simply walked passed the crowds waiting to see the man. The guards barely even spared him a glance either- they knew well enough now that the Cleric of Fate could come and go as he pleased in the castle grounds, lest they wish to tempt angering a god. It was easy to make his way through the gardens, and back to the training area, seeing the lone figure warming up. He pasued long enough to grab a dao sword, before stepping in.
"You know, you could have come and spoken to me yourself about this, Nider, you needn't send a letter and leave it on my desk." He called out as he met the bard's eyes on his way into the training area, amusement in his voice as he approached. "I'm happy to spar with you, my friend. And don't worry, I won't try and predict the outcome of the fight." He added jokingly. He still wore his robes, the only visible thing on the man his hazel eyes that sparkled with amusement and the brunette hair pinned up messily.
