In one of your first Mioo Dorost Ast comics, Pete Ashtoo catches Arceus, and claims that now he has a cute pony to ride. And yet he has yet to be seen riding Arceus since. How do you explain this discrepancy?

True, but false. There's a slew of comic sketches uploaded to the series' info page, which I admittedly haven't advertised to exist. It's unlikely anyone will bother to look it up, so here's the comic showing Pete cruising on his sweet ride:

So.... how would Ash and Charizard get along in the Mioo, Dorost Ast au?

Human Charizard only wants and respects strong Pokémon, so he doesn’t take kindly to Nidorash. He’ll snarl and try to set him on fire whenever he gets close.

I love your design for the Mioo, Dorost Ast! comic. What would you say is harder: creating human versions of the pokemon, or deciding which pokemon the humans should be?

It’s equally difficult to humanize something that’s just a floating eyeball as it is to assign a Pokémon to a human character in a show where 99% of human characters have the same face. At least, in the first generation. What do you keep or add in order to make the person or Pokémon recognizable? Often I won’t even bother. Charmander’s original owner is human Charmander’s father.If you’re lucky, things speak for themselves. At other times you have to take a small detail and run with that. For example, Pikachu and his starter friends are direct translations, they undoubtedly look like themselves, while Ash and Team Rocket are jokes. There’s no good reason for Ash to be a Nidoran, and most artists would’ve probably turned him into a Pikachu, but I found the body of a Nidoran to carry his human features better. Meowth evolves into Persian, so human Meowth is from Iran, and that’s the whole joke, epix lool.Turning Pokémon into humans is more fun, still I can’t say that makes going the other way around harder.

Is Nirodash..dumb? It looks like he has zero idea what's going on half the time nor really phased. He ok up there?

Does Nidorash die as often in your Mioo Dorost Ast AU? For some reason I can't help but imagine Pete generally absentmindedly wandering into near-death situations and Nidorash having to maim himself to rescue him ala Buttons and Mindy, except Pete can always provide a means to revive him, and neither will ever be intelligent enough to stop.

Well, Pete is Pikachu; the smartest character in the entire series. Nidorash’s failures aren’t his fault. Nidorash wants to become “the greatest Pokémon ever” and constantly fights battles he can’t win, like Ash, and is the one who keeps halting Pete’s journey by wanting to help out strangers, like Ash.
