I have a question, how would you see yourself in the world of pokemon and who would be your pokemon partners?
This is actually
I would imagine that i would be in my early twenties as a veteran trainer. And while i won’t actively participate in leagues, i’d be that backup on the off chance that there’s an uneven number of contestants. I’m hired by the league to complete the gym challenge every year to be that backup.
I am no where near Champion level, but my Pokemon and I can go toe to toe with experienced trainers but panic usually makes me loose.
If i do end up winning the league, i don’t go to challenge the elite or the champion (I’m not qualified) because i was hired by the league.
My team consists of common pokemon.
My starter Venasuar (male) with the ability Overgrow is level 78
My first Pokemon Butterfree (male) with Compound Lenses at lv 77
My Shiny Crobat (female), a chance encounter, with Inner Focus at lv 78
My Nidoreign (Nonbinary) (can be substituted by Nidoqueen) with Poison Point at lv 76
Raichu (female) with Surge Surfer at lv 77
And Tsage (Nonbinary) , can be subed with Tsareena, with Royal Majesty (Queenly Majesty) at lv 78
2 of them are fakemon but are based on current Pokemon XD
The Beta Pokemon of the Day today is an interesting split evolution for the Nidoran family.
Nidoreign appears to be able to evolve from either male or female Nidoran, with features of both Nidorino and Nidorina present.
The sex of a pokemon, like the sex of a human, isn’t entirely a binary thing. A fairly well-known example is demonstrated by the Salandit line: in the absence of a Salazzle or a female Salandit who is close to evolutionary maturity, a male Salandit may end up transitioning and evolving to take its place. Lesser known but just as present are intersex pokemon, which can physically manifest in many ways, but is most striking in pokemon such as Meowstic, which have very distinctive sexual dimorphism.
Recently, a fully-evolved intersex member of the Nidoran family hit the news after a smashing victory in the Pokeathlon. While this pokemon does not officially have a pokedex entry of its own (and has brought up the age-old debate as to whether or not the Nidoran lines should be condensed and considered one sexually-dimorphic species), the internet seems to have decided on calling this pokemon Nidoreign, and its pre-evolution seems to be known as either Nidorine or Nidorin, depending on who you ask.
