The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has procured "Feeder Protection Relay" which is commissioned in the High Voltage and Really Lab. Protection of the feeder from the fault is essential so that the power grid continues to supply electrical energy. The feeder injects the electrical energy from the station side to the load side. Therefore it is important to protect the feeder from various types of faults. When our students join power supply companies like KPTCL, knowledge on power system protection is highly valued.
