camp camp - Werewolf's don't go to camp part 1
Running through the woods at full speed was a large beast. Its heart pound against its chest with pain from not stopping. behind it were dogs, he could smell them and their master. The hunter was a hunched old man with grey hair, a mustache, and a hook hand. in his hands was a crossbow with silver arrows. The Quartermaster took aim at the target. TWANG, the arrow shot forward hitting the beast in it shoulder blade. A loud piercing cry of pain echo through the woods. It twitches in pain, its eyes dilating. From the corner of its vision, the Quartermaster approach it lifting cross back end and with a hard thwack, the beast was out. The Quartermaster muttered under his breath. Stupid fluffy bastard, making chase it through woods. After he was done binding the wolfs limps, he set off to his cabin a cage awaited the unconscious beast. Meanwhile 3 miles from where the quartermaster stood. A young stood awake in his tent. He had been dreaming that he wasn't in camp Campell, that he didn't have to deal with the most happy-go camp consular currently alive to date and not having to do the mornings actives. A lass thoughts were to interrupt by a piercing cry shaking the boy out of his dream. rubbing his eyes, he sat upstretched his legs and open the flap of his tent. squinting through the bright moonlight. Retreating back into his sleeping bag muttering stupid dogs. The next morning, the was sunshine was shinning was not a cloud in the sky This would be been the perfection of a day if it was not for the strong odor of raw meat wafting through the air. A young man exited his cabin holding a clipboard and megaphone. he had reddish-brown, teal-green eyes and some freckles on his cheeks. He was not the most intimating figure on the horizon with the lanky he had. Behind him was his sleepy co-consular Gwen. She was around the same height of the young man, her hair was an almost purple tint brown hair, violet eyes and light brown skin. She stretched her, then rubbed her eyes. one thing you could note was the stress lines under eyes. A whiff of the raw meats wavered past his nose. his nose crinkled at the smell. he shrugged it off, continuing his down to the campers tents. Arriving at the tents, Gwen let out a yawn. David do we have to do this so freaken early. David turns around with a chipper smile on his face. Of course, Gwen the early bird catches the worm beside the weatherman said was going to be a beautiful day and I been playing to do this early morning nature hike for a while. Raise the megaphone, He let out GOODING MORNING CAMPERS ARE READY FOR An HIK.... Just then someone yelled David shut it! a pillow smacked David in the face. Still smiling thou, not as big as before he turns to Max who in the closes tent. Well good morning max, keep up that good energy for the hike. Max was about retort that he did not want to go this, that he did not think this was a good morning, but before he could. David had already turned his attention to the other campers arising from their tents. The second camper to come out his tent was Niel. He sniffed the air gagging a bit at the smell of raw meat hanging in the air. David where that smell coming from? Oh, that be the quartermaster feeding his new dogs. five other campers emerged from their tents rubbing eye's and also gagging from the smell. Well, can't the quartermaster just feed his dogs none raw meat like the rest of us? Dude its the quartermaster would expect him to be any else grows, this reply came from Ered who tent was right next to Niel's along with space kid who remarked he couldn't smell anything. Thou this do to wear a fishbowl on his all the time. By now the campers were outside their tents. Nikki was the last to get out and walk over to max and Neil. As soon as David everyone was out of the tents he began to go over the morning's activities. After he was done reading the morning actives he flipped the sheet to begin reading the afternoon schedule when a state trooper car pulled up to the mess. the trooper got adjusted his badge. Ah, good morning folks he called to the residents of the camp. Good morning to you too replyed David cheerfully. Trooper cleared his throat, I just wanted to let you know that their been some wolf attacks in the area. Davids has been attacked by a wolf before, this came from Nikki. the trooper lifted an eyebrow. David gave a little laugh, oh that was a long time ago. Anyways the troper continued if you were planning any hikes, you'd better cancel them till further notice. Oh dear looks like we won't be going on your stupid ass morning hike what a shame, max rolling eyes. Max what have I told you about language. this just gets another eye roll from max. David turns to keep listening to the trooper. The quartermaster had been listening from behind them in the bush while he was dragging a bag of raw meat to his cabin to feed his prisoner. stepping on a stick caused a loud snap that got the attention of max, who then got Nikki and Neil's attention. Let's see what the old ax murder up too. Max figured it interesting to find out why three dogs would need some much that the meat starts to stink up the air. Besides, it might be better than anything David was planning. David watched the trooper leave. Well, kids look like the morning activities are canceled. A cheer came from the sleepy campers, all but three. Scanning the crowd he didn't see them. Hey did anyone see where Max, Neil, and Nikki? I think they that away pointed Nurf pointing in the direction of the Quartermasters cabin. David rubbed his brow, Gwen can you take over from hear? Gwen sighed sure David. Quietly they followed the old man through the backwoods. As they approached cabin they notice trails of old dried up blood on the grass. an upon reaching the cabin they saw Quartmaster new dogs chain to a small poll. The dogs themselves were barking madly at the cabin. The quartermaster himself gave the dogs a guttural growl that sent the mutts into a timid whimper. As the dogs backed away, the Quartermaster sunk his hook claw pull back a large dirt and grass relieving a door. the old man fiddles around in his pockets and bought a pair of keys. The kids watched him descend into the underground room. As soon as the door closed, they entered the cabin. The room looked and smelled the same since they had last visited it, one thing was different was the vibrating cage that is covered in a musty looking tarp. Nikki was first to break the group's silence, I bet its a rabbited wolf or... Or its the platypus madder than usual interjected Max. well, their only one way to find out responded Nikki reaching for the tarp. Ahm came to an annoyed voice from behind them. Meanwhile back at camp
