I immediately thought of Xaere, your centaur who I remembered from a picture where she's playing heavy metal, so that's who I'm curious about. I also remember you occasionally posted pictures of a penguin-inspired pegasus, so is there anything about him you'd like to share?
I'll start with Xaere; She's my D&D bard character. She normally plays a fantasy instrument similar to a medieval bouzouki, characteristic also to her country of origin - a homebrew continent of Liwarn.
As our campaign so far is taking place outside of Liwarn, she's a little out of her element, but she takes it in stride. Generally her friendly attitude and natural charm gains her approval that outweighs the astonishment she causes (in the land in which we're currently questing, there's little to no centaurs). Xaere is a bard though and though - she studied her craft in the academy in a capital of Liwarn - again, among students that were mostly of different people than her own. It made her fairly resourceful and open-minded. She's good at gathering information and has a good amount of common sense, altough she's no mastermind. In her own clan, she's been deemed a person born under an uncertain fate - bringing both extreme luck and extremely unlikely unlucky events.
There's not-so-far-fetched suspicion that she's actually a Liwarnian spy on foreign lands.
As for Nielot, he originated during one of the Inktobers, and I liked his design so much that I've been drawing him from time to time ever since. He has more adaptations for swimming beside his flippers and tail- his whiskers are those of a seal, he can push his nostrils closed, and it's been debated on whether he can or cannot eat fish. His bodytype is somewhat similar to fjord horse.
Also fun fact: he's friends with a chatty seagull-based fishtail griffin and a wandering albatross-based grey mare pegasus named Bryza, who is afraid of the sea.
