hello, and thank you for your order! i was so excited to write these, the nier brainrot has been real lately.

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ nier’s s/o was a local in his village, and they were famous for their beautiful flower arrangements

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ it started off with a flower every so often, but every time he got back from a task- he was given a whole bouquet by them

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ they even asked popola about the meaning of flowers so they could make the flower arrangements extra special

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ kainé and weiss definitely tease him every time he gets given these flowers because he flushes bright red

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ he’d low-key ask emil for help finding lunar tears so he could gift them flowers back-

Nier Automata character headcanons as things you've done pretty please?

2B was tired, and getting frustrated with the squawking of a seagull that seemed to be following her around. She tried to use her pod to lower the volume. It took her a minute to realize why she couldn’t.

9S underestimated how slick wet concrete stairs would be. He tried to run up a flight of them, slipped halfway up, and pitifully slid down while 2B and Jackass watched with blank expressions.

A2, knowing that the sand would irritate her and exposure to the sun for a long period of time would burn her, decided to dedicate a few hours to trying to bury herself in the desert. Later on, she wondered why she felt so terrible.

So I tried to make a list of canon and headcanon YoRHa androids types, for OC and roleplaying purposes. I was inspired by this post.

A : Attacker : infantry battle unit able to use Berserk mode, now discontinued (in-game)

B : Battler : infantry battle unit using melee weapons (in-game)

C : Canceller : unit tasked to hide other android signals from machines during descents, counters machine hacking

D : Defender : unit defending the Bunker from eventual threats and the squadron during assault 

E : Executioner : unit charged in executing other YoRHa units when required(in-game)

F : Fabricator : unit spreading false informations in the machine network

G : Gunner : infantry artillery unit using ranged weapons able to use Berserk mode, now discontinued (in-game)

H : Healer : unit repairing internal damages via hacking or logic vaccines

I : Intercepter : spy unit intercepting machine signals

L : Logician : unit analyzing the battlefield and planning actions of the YoRHa infantry

M : Mechanic : units repairing physical damages

O : Operator : unit charged to send directives to the infantry, information analysis (in-game)

P : Pilot : unit specialized in aerial operations

R : Recorder : unit tasked to record particular events (Drakengard 3)

S : Scanner : unit specialized in information collection via hacking (in-game)

T : Trooper : armoured unit

Android anatomy and physiology headcanons

Compiling all my thoughts n shit here cause there’s too many to just let it all swim around in my head for another day.

Android Anatomy and Physiology headcanons because I'm disassociating too hard

Skeletal: -similar in form and function to human skeletons. -Mostly for structure, does contain some motor systems. -Storage of blood in larger bones -typically composed of heavy metals, toughness depends on the type of android. -second heaviest part of an android.

Internal systems: Control -Central hub of android data is housed in the skull. Non Yorha units store personality, emotional, and memory data in this hub along with motor, survival, and combat system data. -Yorha units effectively have 2 hubs or "brains". The Black Box contains the units personal data and unique systems to the individual, while the control hub in the skull is primarily for functionality and combat systems shared by unit types. -Sensory data is transmitted in a manner extremely similar to the human nervous system. The largest difference being the speed at which data is transmitted and decoded.

Internal Systems: Resource consumption and management -All Androids require water to survive. - some models also require oxygen, while some can go entirely without. -Air is processed and dispersed immediately through systems similar to lungs. -Water can be retained and used when needed in a stomach like system. -Both resources act as coolants. -When consuming material other than water and oxygen, all of the material is broken down and used in one way or another. -Typically the materials are used by the nanomachines during repairs and defense. -Sweat, steam, and heat, are the android's only waste products. -Protected by the rib cage

Internal systems: Cooling and circulation -Androids generate intense amounts of heat. -The cooling system prevents damage to crucial control systems -large Main tubes circulate coolant through the android's heart to be dispersed to other systems. -Damage to an android's heart is catastrophic for all internal systems and is typically fatal -carrying the coolant is the main function of Blood. -Many of an android's internal organs are suspended in a thicker purer gel coolant -The gel also provides shock absorption for the internal systems.

Internal systems: Power - Main source of power comes from a generator housed in the rib cage. -Only needs water to function -Excess power is stored nearby in the Core.

The Black Box -Functions like an external hard drive for a Yorha android's  personal data, as well as a more powerful second reactor. -tiny nuclear reactor that can be set to explode at will -allows Yorha units to be technically superior to other androids -The only part of the internal systems that can be digitized (inventory) and removed without killing its user. -Plug in chips stored and installed here. -Generates the most heat out of any other system. Yorha androids have a higher body temperature compared to non Yorha androids. -Surprisingly study and resistance to damage, aside from overheating.

Endo-Frame: -A protective shell that covers all the internal squishy bits. -Often mistaken for an android's skeleton, as this part does not decompose like the outer layers of skin and muscle. -Offers exceptional protection to internal systems and preserves them for salvage or recovery. -Semi permeable to allow for blood to flow easily between the epidermis and internal systems. -Made up of plates that can be removed for access to internal systems. -the heaviest part of an android.

Muscle, tendons, and adipose: -All motor systems outside of the skeletal motor systems are essentially synthetic replicas of their human counterparts. -combat oriented models have a second set of muscles under the Endo-Frame. -Models like the S model have smaller muscles optimized for agility (running away) -Adipose in androids is a kind of ballistic gel that protects vulnerable and high impact parts of androids i.e. Chest, stomach, legs. -it also assists with temperature regulation -This is why combat androids appear bigger than their non combat allies.

Skin: -the outermost layer of an android. -primary function is temperature regulation and sensory data collection. -responds to stimuli in a similar manner to human skin. (Goosebumps, sunburn etc) -the most easily changeable part of an android. -Can adjust things like pigment patterns (tattoos) and melanin at will. -androids that are deployed in areas that only experience daytime and constant sunlight typically adjust their skin tone to make operating easier. -Yorha units keep their skin tone as part of their uniform.

Blood: -Android blood is made up of 3 main parts. Coolant, plasma, human like hemoglobin. -there are no platelets in android blood. All minor repairs are conducted via nanomachine -nanomachines are transported via the bloodstream when needed. -staunching gel was developed to make up for the fact that android blood doesn't form clots.

hello! thank you for your order of (1) regular request and your patience. i hope you enjoy :)

♡ no one would suspect that 2b, the most serious android to ever walk the earth, would have a s/o- let alone one that is a complete opposite to her

♡ but it happened. 2b fell in love with an android with a deep love for pastel colours, and she couldn’t be happier

♡ her s/o was always looking out for pastel ornaments or fragments of earths past whenever they tagged along with 2b on a mission

♡ and one day, they found some pastel hair dye- and they were estatic

♡ “2b! 2b look! Please can I dye your hair?!” they’d exclaim, waving the pastel bottles around in their hand whilst 2b looked at them, admiration in her eyes behind her blindfold

♡ and ofc, she’d agree. she could always return to the bunker and change physical bodies if she didn’t like the colour- so she sat down in the resistance camp room, listening to the hums from her s/o as they dyed her hair 

♡ low and behold,,,,she loved it. something about the pastel pink contrasting her black uniform just worked- and she’d keep it for as long as she could before being ordered to remove it

I've seen yu do HCs for Nier Automata! Do yu still do them? If so, would it be okay if I asked for HCs on 9S with a mute human s/o that writes on a notebook what they want to say? The s/o can still talk, they just choose not to because of personal reasons :>. Have a great day and stay safe during these times ❤🌸!

9S doesn’t mind that you don’t talk. He’s more intrigued by the fact that you’re writing; he can’t think of a time he’s ever seen anyone write something by hand. He doesn’t even know if he would be able to figure out how to hold a pencil

He asks you extremely complex questions about being a human, but he’s patient enough to wait for you to think about a response and write it out

Hopefully you don’t mind that he fills a lot of silences by talking himself. Because he talks a lot, even if nobody’s listening

He’s fascinated by your handwriting. To him, it’s like your voice. It isn’t mechanical, like something typed. There’s loops and scrawls and scratches that are unique to you

Sometimes if you write something that makes him particularly emotional, he’ll run his fingers over the paper and smile like a maniac

If you’re mad and he sees you furiously scribbling in the notebook, he’ll tell you to lower your voice. Then he’ll laugh. It never gets old, I’m sorry you have to deal with that.

Can I request a human reader teaching Adam and Eve what a bath is and they’re like losing their shit

The androids understand the concept of a bath. It makes them look fresh, smell nice, and feel good overall. They don’t really need them, but they get it

As a whole, the machines have tried, but... they’re always a little off. The closest thing to a bath a machine takes is to roll around in the sand until dirt and grime come off

(Adam and Eve have taken sand baths, but since they have skin it’s a little painful)

Eve just started wearing pants, and he still doesn’t understand why he needs to. He’s probably not your target audience here. He really doesn’t care, he probably leaves to go play somewhere for a minute

Adam just isn’t comprehending it. Why don’t you just do maintenance or something? A bath seems like a waste of time and effort. It’s too luxurious sounding

Honestly, it’s like trying to explain to a stubborn bird why you don’t just fly over a river

You explain the concept of diseases being preventable by good hygiene, but that makes it a little worse. He wants you to stop bathing so he can see what a rash looks like

The only thing that makes Adam budge is when Eve comes back and asks you to give him a bath. It sounds fun, after thinking about it for a few minutes. If you’re giving Eve a bath, Adam wants a bath too!

... Explaining why it’s a little weird for you to give them baths is a whole new headache
