Nifara: the Mother of All

Of the six old gods, Nifara was definitely the trickiest. I don't love how it came out, but I'm okay enough with it to be "done" at least for now. Maybe one day I'll come back to her, but I want to move on to other things so for now, this is it.

Not getting enough correct choices in Blades 3, Chapter 15

I'm assuming I got 4 correct ones due to having bought previous diamond choices (Scroll of the Frozen Hourglass, Winged Warrior, Calling Crystal and Rune Stylus). I skipped the diamond choices in this chapter, and I chose all the options that didn't grant XP.

Warning just in case: Nifara's attack on MC may be uneasy to some, so read at your own discretion.

And it ends on a cliffhanger, of course 😭 Those arms I'm falling into better be Tyril's. Obviously, I'm not sticking with this outcome for my first official playthrough of Blades 3, so I'm definitely replaying the book after reading the finale next week.

Devastated that Nifara didn’t get a CG, her being stabbed with the blade of light could've mirrored Nia’s death in book 1 in such a full-circle way 💔

I was disappointed Nifara ended up looking so young (instead a little older like the Ash Empress) but in hindsight it makes sense due to her obsession with perfection and flawlessness, with Bakshi even saying at one point that she extremely vain and obsessed with beauty and aesthetic. Of course she’d want to be the epitome of youth and beauty, at her ‘prime’ (not exactly literally as Nifara doesn’t age but she looks anywhere from mid 20s to early thirties which is considered a person’s prime), but forever stagnant and unchanging.

So, upsetting that we never got to see Aurinae telling Nifara that she trapped the gang in the Hells thinking she'd get rewarded only for Nifara to say she doesn't reward Duskers.
