I rewatched chased by sea monsters and let me tell you, I’m always shocked by how well the vfx holds up for a tv special from twenty years ago

I know NBCUniversal being involved means Surviving Earth is gonna get some famous Hollywood person to narrate the series, but what if they brought Kenneth Branagh back for the modern iteration of the Loud Minds palaeo mock/documentary?

I'd also gladly take Nigel Marven given he was more heavily involved when what was then Impossible Pictures became an independent production company. And if not either of them, I'd even welcome someone who was in Primeval to narrate for the Loud Minds connection.

It's definitely one of my favorite pieces of Paleomedia out there ☺️

Prehistoric Park is a 2006 British docu-fiction series where wildlife adventurer Nigel Marven travels back in time to rescue extinct animals from the brink of extinction and bring them to a modern-day wildlife sanctuary. Produced by Impossible Pictures (the creators of Walking with Dinosaurs and Surviving Earth), the show uses CGI to depict creatures like T-Rexes, woolly mammoths, and saber-toothed cats, blending documentary-style filmmaking with a fictional narrative. The six-part series follows Marven and his team as they manage the park and its inhabitants, challenging the idea that extinction is forever.
