In a country with 'just-growing' fitness communities like Nigeria, you find out people know a little about what they can do with some common gym tools eg Dumbbells. . Here is a power-centered combination high-level athletes should all included in their conditioning toolbox (if you happen to follow my posts, so far you 'move', you are an athlete. Even if it is spirits😅). . Power is simply the ability to move weights as fast as possible through a particular space. For example during bench press, how fast can you move the bar away from your chest (the bottom position) to the top position where you arms are extended. . During sporting activities, athletes would be required to move their own body weights or some cases with added weights through space as fast or as competitively as possible. They can be required to do this through sprinting, jumping, swinging, slamming etc . All these are trained through short, deliberate and highly reactive drills like you have it in the video above..
