#SGCF2018 last day! 1. Had visitors in town so started late, first stop was @antidotebar for their Puerto Rican takeover. Fab music, delicious drinks by @macarotger and @ninotchka_g and a killer vibe! Didn’t want to leave but duty called so off to @nutmegandclove I went... 2. The “Taiwanese Heartthrob” shift was in full swing with Nick Wu, Angus Zou and Sam Kuan behind the stick. Had the tasty Blue Diamond but things got even more interesting when @colincyc pulled out some #spirits older than many of the bartenders in town #LOL 3. As promised, headed to @gibsonbarsg for the #CharlieParker residency. The Bee Pollen, the Macadamia and the Clarified Singapore Sling were all #fantastic, maybe #RafflesHotel would consider a version of the last one at their newly renovated bar? 4. Was contemplating going to the industry #nightcap at @smokeandmirrorsbarsg but upon leaving Gibson, was offered a ride to @drinkskinnys. I took that as a sign. Haven’t been there apart from the one time I tried and was told to queue 😱. Finished off #SGCF2018 in classic Skinny’s style, beers and shots. So, after 13 nights out in a row as part of the loooooongest Cocktail Festival in history, I am on a #booze hiatus... we will return to regular scheduled programming in a few days.
