this is a fic about love, healing after trauma, and desperation in a canon-divergence au where wangxian gets together while wwx is still considered yllz, and as a result, lwj is able to whisk wwx away in the aftermath of the first siege of the burial mounds. it is dark, and has elements of gaslighting and manipulation but tries to toe the line of tenderness and obsession between wwx, and a far darker lwj than in canon. i don't doubt that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you enjoy fics that explore wwx's guilt and general psyche in the aftermath of the siege, as well as an unabashed dark-ji, i'd say give this a try! :> (please mind the tags tho!) @nattyontherun
