Installation artist Hirofumi Isoya was born 1978, Tokyo, Japan. He currently lives and works in London.

The artist on his work:

"I studied architecture and fine art at the Tokyo University of the Arts and Goldsmiths College. This double affiliation can be clearly sensed in my practice. I find my subjects in local transformation of the 20th century's universal visions, utopian belief and ideal forms in modern art and architectural principles. I attempt to create an alternative structure on past ideas and system."
