Ok, so I recently found your "I'm Captured" comic (really funny btw) and noticed that Laserblast had a sucker in the first part and dropped it. And then I had a thought. What if instead of dropping the sucker, he started choking on it? Like he inhaled too fast, half swallowed it. Boxlad wouldn't want his victory over a hero to come by ACCIDENT, so he has to get Laser down, heimlich him, and make sure he's still breathing. Laser is embarrassed, that incinerator is starting to sound nice.

oh my gosh. XD Poor Laserblast, just made a fool of himself in front of his crush AND not even in the fun way where you get mouth-to-mouth.

10. Favorite Alien Race

I know that saying the saiyans is a total cop-out, but it’s true. I have SO MANY QUESTIONS about them. 

Like, under what conditions they evolved to be so close to humans (and sexually compatible!). I want to know about the monarchy and how the empire operates. I mean, conquering planets is all well and good, but what happens after a planet has been conquered? Does its culture integrate with saiyan culture, or vice versa? Are there formal treaties drawn up between the saiyans and whatever planet they’ve taken? What other myths and legends are there besides the super saiyan? Do they have gods? One god? A pantheon? As an advanced race, did they have things like television shows or news channels, movies, theater – forms of entertainment not related to battle? What about fashion? In the canon, everyone’s always in their armor, but were there different styles of it? Were trends influenced by the races they conquered? What were the most popular dishes? Did they have holidays? Did they have different regions with different dialects, and were inferences made about one’s character based on things like accent, class, skin color, gender, sexuality? Sexuality! What were their views on sexuality? I like to imagine that they were a pansexual race, but that’s only my interpretation of them. What were saiyan weddings like? Were there saiyans who raised their young personally instead of sending them off to other planets? What did squads do in their off-time? Did they hang out? You can’t train all the time, so what did saiyans do for fun?

Granted, I plan to answer all of these things and more in an upcoming multi-chaptered fic I’m writing, but still. I want canon answers.

17. Favorite Piccolo and Gohan Scene

You know this comic? Goku didn’t deserve a mug. Piccolo is the best parental figure in Gohan’s life. There are so many good scenes to choose from, but I think my favorite is this:

In DBZ, self-sacrifice seems to be either the climax of a character’s development arc or a way to show a character’s love for another, or sometimes both. This was just… so poignant. Here was the antagonist of the previous series giving his life for the son of his former enemy. He meant to change Gohan to suit his needs (and to fortify them against the saiyans), but he never meant for himself to change too. Piccolo had lived his entire life alone and in such anger, but a little boy’s unconditional trust and dependency was all it took to break him of it. And that’s absolutely beautiful.

27. Coolest Invention

My first thought was the gravity simulator and my second thought was the dragon ball radar, but I think my favorite invention was the remote that would have deactivated the cyborgs.

Like, can you imagine? Bulma’s trying to create something off of someone else’s designs, in the span of like 24 hours, that might be all for naught if Cell ends up getting the cyborgs before she can finish. Not only that, but who the hell knows if it’ll even work? Remember, the cyborgs are not androids–they’re human at the core. So this remote would not only shut down whatever Gero had forced into 18, but also human physiology. With a push of a button, the remote would have shut down 18′s central and autonomic nervous systems. That’s pretty incredible. 

30. Why do you love Dragon Ball?
