V7-era Qrow and Clover fusion for @nightlilly0110

I imagine this happens because as the head of the Ace Ops, it’s Clover’s job to understand RWBYJNPR’s Semblances. Qrow volunteers (after the initial priming fusion with Jaune) so that the kids can focus more on leisure. They deserve it after everything they’ve been through

I’ve had this sketch sitting on my computer for like a month now I think, and decided to finally try and finish it somehow. 

It’s a scene from @nightlilly0110′s fic No Heroes, where Tomura stops Dabi from falling off a roof to his death like a noob parkourer. (chapter 16)

Jokes aside, I remember being very unhappy with the sketch at the time hence I probs didn’t finish it, and I did change it somewhat before finishing it now. I managed to find the art made for Tomura’s outfit in this fic, and tried to at least somewhat make it look right, though I probs missed some details OTL

FSHLDKJFD thank you! I do have to admit I was quite furious earlier this year, but I am 23 years old, in school and with a job, and truthfully maintaining anger about a story we haven’t even been able to fully consume yet is both unhealthy and exhausting to me.

I do want to specify that I consider headcanon and theory very different, though. Headcanon is something I make up, like say, I think Clover has a deep-seated insecurity about never having a partner because his semblance is so rare, which is why he’s so excited to meet Qrow. This is something I just enjoy and like to write about, but I don’t really have any canon basis to support it.

Theory, on the other hand, is something that has canon support, like the origin of the name “Branwen”, allusions to “second sight” and “wish like a fisherman” in reference to Clover’s name and the wishbones on his shoulders, the direct and obvious parallels between FG, Bees, and Nuts and Bolts, and of course, the very blatant cut of him inside the Creation Relic shape from Ch 3. The main reason the Staff Theory document is as long as it is, is because I have to “cite my sources” so to speak, whereas headcanon is, as the name implies, whatever tickles my fancy.

So although I do create and have posted headcanons about HOW I think it’ll happen, which is based on my experience as a writer/editor and a bit of indulgence more than anything, the bulk of the theory and the idea of Clover resurrecting at all is rooted in things that canon has already provided, which in my opinion is what makes the theory pretty solid.
