Nightmare Log 01 - Shadow
The door creaks open. There is someone there and not there. Give up, keep sleeping - it's easier.
Nightmare logs (these will be in no particular order lol) I thought it would be cool to write from nightmare’s perspective during the early days of bad sanses
Tw for substance abuse and self neglect
Now where was she? Elysia looked around. But all there was was darkness. She tried to move her arms and legs, but she could not. She realized she was being held spread eagle, but could see nothing.
The area suddenly flashed white, and the area was illuminated. She was bound, held fast by bonds around her wrists, and completely naked. Even her circlet was gone. She knew she should be more upset about this, but somehow, she felt...... neutral. Unfazed. Except, faces started to appear. Familiar faces. Chrom, Stahl, Olivia, Frederick, Tharja... they approached. They all had grins on their faces, and each of them seemed to chill her.
In Chrom's hands was his sword, Falchion. It flashed through Elysia's mind for a moment that it slew dragons.
"We knew you could not be trusted," Frederick spoke up.
"I'm sorry, Elysia. But this is for the best. For everyone." Chrom raised Falchion, drew his arm back, and--
"Gahhh!!" Elysia woke with a start. She was still covered only in Roy's cape, leaned against a tree. Her body was covered in sweat and the cape had started to cling to her because of it. She looked around. Mercifully she was alone, and it was still early morning in the camp. She heard quiet sounds elsewhere, but it was likely only Frederick on his morning rounds.
She sighed and took the moment to re-dress herself, folding the cape and stowing it inside her tent to return to Roy later.
The nightmares were coming more and more often lately... Her back hurt, Elysia realized, and she rubbed it gently. Nothing felt out of place, but it felt like it burned.
Maybe Frederick could use some help, she told herself, as she wandered in the direction the noises were coming from.
